That is ture, but they said nothing about the website which I was able to get into all weekend.
I can't even describe how deprived I was.
At first it was just the "Aw, release will come soon, OB is coming up.."
Then it was the chewing on my finger nails...
The constant refreshing of the "www.WorldofWarcraft.com" site in hope to see "Open Beta has started!"
And.. then.. it was me, sitting at my computer, ripping paper, biting on my fingernails, refreshing the WoW site, looking at WoW comics, furiously scanning these boards, looking in my Gmail account(maybe they kept it from when I submitted for Stress Test and decided to send me a Stress Test2 beta! Who knows..), and then.. it was the insane part of me, I started cutting myself to pretend I was undead...(JK)
But, now I am in a mental hospital, telling someone what to type, and in a straight jacket, my room is padded.

World of Warcraft Forums Offline this Weekend - Indoflaven on 10/29/04
Due to a large amount of maintenance work being done on our servers this weekend, all World of Warcraft forums on www.WorldofWarcraft.com and on www.Battle.net will go offline at 9:00 PM PDT tonight and will remain offline until late Monday morning. We hope you have a good weekend, and we look forward to seeing you again online on Monday.

I've read that before many times and it doesn't say anything about the website comming down. In fact it says in the message above that one on the site to keep checking the site for more information on when to download the new beta client.

"Back" and "in the first place" are two very different things. Especially where crack is concerned.
