Man this sucks. No beta and no forums. :(
Well, while I am not in the beta I know what you mean. I enjoyed going over there to see what the Devs were saying.

To bad they let the mush brain players post there also. On a whole the WoW postings were less then stellar.
as much as it sucks it almost guarantees that the stress test will start monday or atleast next week. They mentioned that it will not be avalilable for the closed beta people to DL early (and mentioned this wekend) so that brings in the assumption that next week will start the stress test if you havent figured that out already
They also just posted a message that we can't download the new client because of needed maintenance. Their server really needs to be upgraded. Every time the they were doing updates to the game the forum would crash due to lots of people trying to get in. It really needs to be able to handle more people. I mean consder this is just closed beta. Imagine it's open to everyone and the game crashes. There will be no hope of accessing the website to find out whats wrong.
I thought of that, but I'm sure they will have something in the works to communicate simply what the status of all servers is at that point in time. If all the servers are down, at least that will offer an explanation to why you can't log on and satiate your need to know if/that they are down.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
That would be great if they could do that, but they said email would take forever to send out. Perhaps they can put something in the client, or on the main website page, but who knows.
