#1 Oct 24 2004 at 10:20 AM Rating: Decent
k I have not tested WoW beta. But I am going to buy it. What I am really confused is on the PvP server if your a horde another of the horde can attack you? Or only alliance vs horde? (Sorry my english is so bad)

Nope, the PvP server is really a FactionvFaction server. There are certain circumstances where another person in your faction can attack you:
1) You accept their challenge to a duel
2) Your honor is so low, due to you being an all-around scumbag, that you are Kill On Sight to everyone

Otherwise, they're the Horde! They're your buddies! They wouldn't go randomly attacking their allies, right? No, you ARE kill-on-sight to every two-bit Alliance character...

From what I understand the honor system is to prevent malicious attacks on players severely lower than you. If you go out and gank too many newbs then your faction sees your character as dishonorable and this will bring about negative consequences.

How will it work, I don’t think anyone can answer that yet. The reason for this is it has not been fully implemented in the game. There is alot of speculation about it, but no hard facts on how it will work. Last time I saw blue text about it they said it was still under review, so blizzard may change it from the original plan.

Those who can test the game may be able to tell you more, I am just going on the official Blizzard info I see on this.

Sorry I can’t help more, but I think no information is better than bad information

I think Gense is trying to ask if they will have a FFA server on release. If that's what you want to know, Blizzard hasn't planned that.

He can hold his breath all he wants. I'm (figuratively) doing so right now, 'coz the game's worth it to me. But in the sense that "soon" may not be as "soon" as some people want it to be, that's true... but I ramble. Whenever "soon" is, that's when I'll see ya all. ^_^

soon is never, ever soon enough when we are talking about WoW here.. lets face it, we are basically addicted to crack that we have yet to smoke! I can assure you that Blizzard wont let us down. In all the years I have played Blizzard games they have yet to. Even with all the whiners spouting their nonsense on the closed beta forums.

Geez, makes me wonder how I'd be reacting right now if my guildmate hadn't gotten me into the beta. (Thank you.)

People need to learn to be patient.

The game will be out when it's out.
