Ille-Mort (Horde Guild)Follow

Hi Ille Mort is an Australasian based WoW Horde only guild, which will most likely play on the AvH server, but at this point in time we are not entirely sure.

Ille Mort FAQ

What is Ille Mort?

Ille Mort is a literal translation from Latin to English of The Dead; we chose this name because of the will of the Horde to kill all Alliance dogs. Ille Mort is a Horde Guild operating on the US West AvH server (This is subject to change). We are currently one of two guilds taking in members, due to TBC stopping applications.

How old do I have to be?

Currently the age cut off is 15+ years, this was a hard one to decide and I will be watching younger players to make sure that they are mature on the forums and in-game, as for our older members I will be watching you too.

Why 15+?

Well, I thought 15+ would be a sensible age cap because I am sure that there are a lot of young gamers that are interested in WoW.

Will you be participating in any other games?
As of yet no, WoW will be the only game that we play. The reason for this is that if we were to play two MMO’s then our character levels would be lesser than if we were to play just one game. By all means we encourage our members to play other MMORPG’s but IM will be functioning as a WoW only Guild.

What are the requirements for me to join the guild?

• You must be 15 or over
• Had a small amount of MMORPG playing
• Willing to participate in Guild events
• Be an active user of IM’s forums
• You must act mature at all times, unless circumstances require you to do otherwise
• Must play as a Horde character
• Only be a member of IM, otherwise conflicts can emerge with loyalty

Were do I go if I want to join?

Currently IM has no official guild site, however we do have an active set of forums, and you can post there in the Applications section

Guild Ranks

Initiates:
An initiate is a applicant that has been approved by the GM and also by at least two Officers, the Initiate is then trialed in game for a period of three weeks, in that period they will be tested to see if they have the “qualifications” to become a member. An Initiate should attempt to take part in all set guild activities for the weeks they are on trial. After their trail period, the guild leaders and master will review the actions of the initiate, if they approve then he/she will become a full time member of Mort. However if an initiate is disruptive or has personality clashes with any members of Mort, whatever their rank then that initiates application will be terminated

Members: To become a member of Mort, you must first complete the scheduled initiate period, members really make up the guild, and the majority of people will belong to this group. All members are under review however, negative behaviour, such as: Failure to participate in Guild events, failure to comply with Veteran/Officer/Leaders. These actions will result in a retrial as an initiate or possible expulsion from the guild. However positive behaviour, such as: Showing high expertise in an area, participating in all guild events. Will put the member into review for a veteran position

Veterans: Veterans are highly ranked members; they are people that have shown us (the Officers and Leaders) that they can excel in specific aspects of the game, be it: Battle Tactics, Trade skills, Fighting, Stealth and Reconnaissance. Initiates/members will come to Veterans if they have any problems, then if they consider the problem to be to large for them to handle, it will be passed onto the Officers/Leaders.

Officers: Officers are the people that have been hand picked by the Leaders, because they believe that that particular player can bring something very special to the guild, the Leaders and Officers group together to make the “Elites” of the guild, these are the people that will participate in inter-guild battles that have a member limit. The Elites also deal with Initiate applications and also with Member reviews. Officers also have a say in major guild events, such as forging alliances, and also communicating with Leaders about promotion of initiates and members, to their respective higher ranks.

Leaders: The leaders are the founders of the guild, and are the final word in any guild disputes and guild issues. Leaders also have the final say in applications to the guild, and also have the power to expel anyone that they see disrupting the guild.
