Melee CharsFollow

Hey, i want a good melee class but my main goal is lots of damage, so i can do well in raids and PvP. What do you think is the best high lvl class:

Melee hunter with good pet,

Druid,

Shaman,

or Warrior

i know warrior will be a good tank, but i want good dmg too. im not too sure how hunter, druid, and shaman are at damage but they seem like they can take a hit or two before getting snuffed. (unlink mage... or maybe warloc, havent played yet)

If you're just going straight DPS, you're probably best off with a Rogue. Melee DPS is their specialty. They're also the frailest of the melee classes. Hunters really aren't a melee class, they honestly prefer ranged combat and stoop to melee if they must, so probably not that for you. Druids aren't very good at melee unless you shapeshift; while in base form druids are casters in leather armor. If DPS is your ONLY concern, then a Rogue is your best bet. After that, warrior and maybe shaman; shaman rely heavily on spells, though.

I don't understand why Druid is listed under Melee and Rogue isn't.

Well anyways Rogue is one of the best DPS classes in the game and they do well in PvP and raids.
