I searched and searched, so sorry if this has already been answered.

Was wondering, say I participated in an open/ or closed beta, do I get to keep my character, such as, if I had a level 60 Undead Rogue and the game came out, would I still have it?

I personally hope not I think it'd be an un-fair advantage for the lucky few who got the beta.

Just what your last statement in your first post indicates. Who would start learning the game on a PvP server where a lot of level 60 people were running around killing every newbie they could find, not to mention simply the economic advantages beta players would have? The mere play experience is enough advantage to be rewarding post-release.
