its a jpeg not a virus.
And in the future if you aren't sure, posting the unconfirmed link on a public forum is the worst thing you can do.

Also, keep in mind that it being hosted on a public image site like that would get it yanked fairly quickly if it was one. Of course, the biggest thing, is that it is VERY VERY rare for a image format file to have a virus or something in it. Normally when you see a virus or something from clicking on a link that says it is an image file it is actually a redirection to the file that does have one. Public sites like imageshack don't allow anything but image formats to uploaded, so you can't really make a redirect page from them.
Indeed. Mouse over the link and if it still says it's from imageshack and is still a .jpg, it's fine.
I can understand the paranoia. My roommate got hacked sometime in the last couple days. They even took his damn guild tabard.
The good thing is that most of his gear is PvP gear(and thus not disenchantable or vendorable).
We think it was an addon he got on either Sunday or Monday that hid the trojan. Needless to say, I checked my account. I did find a couple items missing, but they were low value items on an alt(PvP gear that wasn't disenchantable or vendorable) that had disappeared during the bank bag bug and been recovered. For all I know, they've been gone since last Wednesday. I don't believe I was hacked as all my main's epics are still there(and she's a 300 enchanter) as is my gold.
I still ran 2 different Anti-Virus programs and a Anti-Spyware program to be safe, as well as changing my password to be safe, but they all came up clean(1 tracking cookie was all that was found).
