In The Sepulcher, the Innkeeper's name is Innkeeper Bates.

...and in Undercity, we have Innkeeper Norman =)

The Zepplin Master outside The Undercity is named Hin Denberg. I thought that was pretty funny.

What about the orc or troll in the little town on the south of blackfathom (zoram stran) deeps who mentions a expansion line shortage? The way he metions it in the quest is just like the way the scientest says it in "Dr. Strangelove",when he goes on about the mine shortage gap after the nuclear holocaust, if anyone has seen it?

lol I was waiting for a good thread like this and dammit, I found it. Rate up to all :D

Forgot one...

In Shimmering Flats, there's a race track that gnomes and goblins use. Take a look at what they are riding. Star Wars Pod racers, anybody?

If I'm not mistaken, that blessed foosball table has been a cherished member of the Blizzard team since the original Warcraft. And don't forget the infamous Kitchen Sinkā„¢. Smiley: grin

The cooking trainer in Stormwind is named Stephen Ryback. If anyone has seen Under Seige, Stephen Seagals Charachter was Casey Ryback, and he was a good cook.

I had mentioned the Pod Racer Track in The Shimmering Flats as well as the fact that Gadgetzan looks alot like Mos Eisley or some Tatoonie-esq Star Wars City. Maybe that was in another thread.

I may be reaching here, but last night I got the Key for the Gate from Loch Modan and Searching Gorge and leaving the cave going back to Loch Modan I notice two large dwarf statues flanking the cliffs and it reminded me of those large statues on the river the Fellowship passes through in The Fellowship Of The Ring. I think they are called the Argonauths or something.

On a side note, there is a quest in The Searing Gorge about a guy basically locked in an Outhouse. I thought that was hilarious... especially since he wants you to bring him 15 silk cloths... :-)

This is the best thread I have seen in a long, long time! I'm going to be scouring the entire world looking for these now.

When Rogues reach lvl 20 or above, they get a quest to go to Ravenholdt Manor hidden in the Hillsbrad Mountains. When I entered the Manor I saw an NPC standing there in a Tuxedo. When I got a little closer I noticed his name was Winstone "The Wolf", as in Harvey Keitel's character from Pulp Fiction.

That gave me a nice chuckle.

there is a man named Abercrombie in Duskwood, he is labeled as "The Hermit", wonder if they like the clothes :P

Abercrombie is also responsible for creating "Stitches" the giant monstrosity that threatens the human town. Not sure if they like the clothes or are saying they created some ugly mis-shapen monster. Smiley: grin

I have not seen this mentioned yet, but read the first names of the three Bankers in Stormwind next time you get a chance. :D

In order, from left to right, they each read "Olivia Newton John".

The name of the club: Rakzur. Does this look like R0xx0r to anyone else (trying saying them outloud)? I hate l33t, but this seemed too humorous to pass up commenting on ^_^;

One of my favourite lines has to be from Caretaker Alen at the light's Hope Chapel Graveyard in the Eastern Plaguelands.

"I can't take these taxes! F.I.C.A. me? F.I.C.A YOU!"

Couldn't believe that made it in, laughed plenty after reading it.

I'm not sure what the area is but its inbetween Duskwood and Swamp of Sorrows.

When you walk in from Duskwood there are two signs next to a tree that has people hanging in them.

One reads "Abandon hope all ye who enter here"

Dante style. Smiley: sly

Oh, the male Dwarfs /silly comment about being a "social drinker" cracks me up every time.

"They have a drink - and i say 'social' I!"

And maybe its just me, but the female dwarf's /flirt about "pressing steel with her thighs" is kinda scary...

In Black Fathom Deeps instance there is a named elite turtle named Gam'ooh'ra or something close to that.

For those who don't know, there is an old series of Japanese movies that star a giant turtle Gamoora who fights off evil monsters, similiar to Godzilla but totally a good guy in all ways.

Gamera, the defender of the Universe and all around good egg, er, Turtle. Just like certain pro wrestlers, he's done the evil-turned-good thing a few times.

http://www.kensforce.com/Gamera.html for some pics of his mightiness in action.

Elwynn Forest has the Stonefields vs Maclure thing.

Hatfields vs McCoys? Pretty obvious.

I can't believe no one mentioned this, The human's /silly has one that is a direct reference to the Lord of the Ring. It goes something like:

"So I have this idea for a story where 2 Gnomes find braclet..."
