I can't post on the SOE EQ2 or FR forums (despite being logged in) and cannot log into either game (nor the Station Launcher). =\ Looks like SOE's login servers are completely down.
So if you were wondering what's going on, that appears to be the problem!

I'd like to add, if you ARE in game currently, don't try to switch characters! Even zoning could potentially dump you.

Yeah, I wanted to play a bit before work, but it's a no-go. /sigh.
Also, for the little bit I was able to get into the forums, I couldn't reply in the General forum. I could in the trial forum, though. And yes, I have enough posts to be able to reply in General, I've done it plenty of times. Screwy stuff.

Can't even get to the EQ2 facebook. I thought they might have posted some info there.
Yeah, forums are definitely messed up right now. The Free Realms forums is only showing the announcements board and nothing more for me. I can't reply in any of the EQ2 forums (except probably trial like you mentioned).
I have a feeling that their authentication server took a dump. Hopefully one of them wakes up soon and can fix it. ;)

Maybe SoE is too busy sorting through valentines right now. At any rate..there is a chance they will extend the xp bonus a day (they have done so in the pass when things crash over the weekend).

I have a feeling they won't though as it would then be in effect when the expansion is released. Then people who can't get access until the 23rd would be pretty pissed at the huge advantage people on the 16th would've had (and I can't blame them if that happened).

Well they wouldn't have to do a full day...but they could easily leave the extra xp on until the servers come down to patch on the 16th.
Yay for that update! Heh, I think we should send Kiara some chocolates for interupting her V-Day plans if she had any.

Aren't they bringing servers down at midnight PST though? Thinking about it more.. did they ever say when they were bringing servers down? Hehe. I'm pretty sure the exp bonus is supposed to last until the servers are brought down for expansion patch, anywho. :)

As of a couple of mins ago login servers are still down. Has been so for at least 2 hours. Couldn't get into game, or post on forums but did manage to get to petition to report the problem. As of the last couple of tries have not been able to even get to the EQ2 website.
I was just able to connect to Station Launcher...... *Crosses fingers*
Everything appears normal, go play!
