Is leveling too fast in EQII, or is it convenient to be able to level up an alt quickly? Zimm shows ZAM how to rapidly max a toon and we contemplate on leveling speed in the game in...
Yeah, alts are addicting for sure! haha. I think this was done just to say it could be done. I don't know why anyone would want to miss content on purpose...?

Lots of veteran players apparently want to do so to try another class but still play with their friends, or to fill a void in their guild's raid structure.
I would be interested in knowing how long it would take, on average, for a new player to solo and group (no power leveling, no mentoring, no refer-a-friending) to 80. It's taking me months, haha.

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
I created Enica (my main) August 2006. She's 25% away from 80. Granted, I have taken a few game breaks, but I bet even if I had played all the way through with no breaks, I probably wouldn't have hit 80 much sooner. Maybe this past summer at the earliest. I play a lot of alts, and I tend to wander off doing grayed out quests, or hunting for shinies or pages for collection. And tradeskills... so much stuff.
My 'new' main Yooyoo was created on Nov 17 2006 and hit level 80 on Nov 15 2009 (had already reached level 80 crafting).
My 'old' main Hubert was created on Apr 29 2005 and is still only level 61.
Edit: P.S. I like the revamped SOE Station Players info! First time I've looked at it since the update - no need to pay extra cash to view all of your stats now :)
