The forum's been quiet recently so...

I'm adventure level 80 and I mainly solo. What should I do? I'm racking up the AA points completing quests & filling in discoveries. I had a good wander around New Tunaria the other day now it's grey - what a great zone for scenery (plus a nice haul of shinies incl. 3 experts). I was thinking of starting on the epic weapon (yes I know it will require groups at some points).

Anything else of worthy solo pursuit?

BTW, I enjoyed earning the Qeynos Claymore Monument replica from the 5th birthday quests - nicely done SOE.

New Tunaria is indeed a beautiful zone.

My three suggestions for 80 solo would be:
-The higher level Lavastorm content. When you get maxed faction you can get yourself the fire carpet mount (has nice regen on it), plus start building up the token items to buy some nice gear with (one of the better soloable things they put in).
-The Rime faction quests, they start in KP and you kill them at first (but you are already -50k faction with them so it doesnt matter), and they take you to Fens, Jarsath, and Kunzar. There is also a nice mount and gear that you can buy when you finally finish them (which costs 40p but the quest series alone will get you about half the money you need for it).
-Head to the Moors of Y'kesha and find more solo quests then you can ever imagine.

Things I sometimes play...

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"I want to be a unicorn!"
"Awww, why's that?"........
"So I can stab people with my face."

I've actually been concentrating on an alt instead of my 80 monk lately. But there's plenty to do, even solo, at 80. I cleared out all the quests I could do on my own, including the grey ones, I've only to do the ones at Timorous Deep now (which can be done no matter what the city affiliation is, handy).

The best thing now ofcourse would be that you can now mentor down without having to group, you can then redo instances, clear out quests at that level (no longer finishing them grey, but at the appropriate level), go named hunting,... It's a handy thing, that chronomagic.

Many thanks. I quite fancied a flaming rug. My flying carpet looks so ... smoulder free.

I'll have to try out some chronomagic, but I've heard you get much reduced AA XP (esp. over normal mentoring). There again, some is better than none.
