Chaos and seriously annoyed playersFollow

I found both when I logged on today!

No, not the downtime was responsible, but the rather obvious changes made with the new GU. Lots of great stuff, but people with a good amount of alts are seriously cursing when they see they have to put their armour back on (I don't get that one myself, why was some of my armour removed and the attuning off? Especially since it wasn't armour I could sell to others, although I should have checked that, shard armour is no trade I believe), redo the traits, redecorate, check out the new achievement system, do the new spire quests, do the Errolisi quest,...

So much to do, my biggest problem would be that I'm preparing to move, so I don't have much time to play for the next two weeks or so.

The new appartments in Maj'Dul are absurdly large though, it's fun to be able to put 600 items in it instead of 300, especially since I already had 298 of them (counted, close to 400 in total), but now I just feel it's empty, it's almost the size of a mansion, just no cellar area.

The achievements are going to drive me nuts though, there are some I'm really close to getting (the quest ones mostly, I don't bother with the raid or crafting ones) and I just know I'm going to spend hours on grey mobs and quests to get them.

My only complaint: why does a monk get the paladin shield effectiveness as a possible trait? To boost our shield defence with 2%? Sure, it's a fighter trait, but since monks don't have shields, it's bloody ridiculous.

The armour and other items were de-equipped and de-attuned because they have now been given the heirloom tag, meaning that you can trade them to your alts. If they hadn't done it that way, there would no doubt have been yet more complaining.

You should feel lucky. Once again the EU rollout is delayed...

I am so/so on the new room. It doesn't bother me nor am I excited about it, yet. I worked very hard on my FP Estate for a few years and I finally completed it the way I wanted it about 2 years ago. Now I have this extra room with nothing to put in it. I remember when they opened the small door and gave us that extra room, I was having trouble at coming up with a plan for it.

The Achievements are fine. Other games have them too. I am a little OCD and it does bother me that some are not complete but I have to just tell myself I can go and get them when I'm really bored with nothing to do. Thanks EQ2 for sucking me in a few hours more a day.

The one thing that I cannot stand and am actually quite pissed off is the Glide for Arasai. That was a choice I chose not to take when creating her and skipping that option. Now everyone of the Arasai have to have it and it is really annoying. I have no idea how to jump anymore. I re-rolled that character of mine, deleted the 76 for a level 1 just so I could have an Arasai and now that I'm just a few levels from the other one, I wish I picked a different race. I'm hoping that they will take back the Glide being something that you HAVE to have. With my luck, I'm not gonna get it.

I've noticed that the little time I have these days (I'm moving in two weeks time, hectic times), I spend a rather large amount on watching what achievements I can do quickly and doing those before even trying the new quests.

Granted, there aren't that many new ones and ofcourse there's an achievement for the number of quests too, so it sort of balances out. Only need 23 more to get to 2500 quests, might have to start crafting to get there quickly though.
