What's up with Broker?Follow

What is going on with Broker? I used to be able to search for an item and see the averagae for all of the servers at once.

I have also noticed something else....I have 4 slots of the same item posted, all on the same server, 1 on 1 character and 3 on another. I decided since I couldn't just pull the item up on broker to get an average I would try and figure my own out. Much to my surprise only one of my items is showing. Nothing that I have posted this weekend is showing up.

I have seen previous posts dealing with both issues in the last week and on both an update has been requested but as of yet not received.

Could we please get an update for what is going on. At this point I don't know if I should post any more items and if I did if anyone would be able to see them to know they are available for purchase.

I quit playing this for awhile and just came back in. I notice that broker is still not working like it used to. This was one of the reason for taking a break. I want to be able to spend my time questing, not having to look up one item on several servers to be able to find a fair price for the items I am trying to sell. Is this going to be rolled back to the way it was, or is this the wave of the future?

It's obviously more problematic than originally anticipated. As far as I know it's still getting fixed, I just don't know when.

But why look up your item on several servers to get a fair price? The servers can vary wildly in economics, ask a fair price for *your* server!

The price something sells for on another server is irrelevant unless you are doing a character transfer. The only thing of interest is how much the thing sells on *your* server - and for that, just look at what other people are charging on the broker.

If you cannot find any other items for sale, set a price that you think is fair based on the material & fuel costs plus the scarcity of the skills required to make it (i.e. does it take months of grinding to get the recipe for the item). If it doesn't sell after a few weeks, maybe consider dropping price a bit.

The only other consideration then is what to make. For that, you'll need to search your repertoire of recipes on the broker & make something that is rare/unavailable, that can sell for a premium. Either that, or just make a bazillion arrows :)

As a casual player who spends a long time at work this was something I was (and still am) looking forward too ;)

I don't know about missing feeds... But how come all the spell scrolls show the old names and not the new Spell Name I/II/III/IV.... (App/Journeyman/Expert/Master) format?

Not only are all the new spell names in correctly, but items should be showing broker info again. Please poke it a lot and start a new thread if you see any issues so I can pass them on.

Sorry about the delay folks. That spell name change caused a lot of back-end chanes and had a lot of unforseen effects.
