I'm trying to find out the best zones and monsters to battle. My primary goal is to xp. Not too interested in questing. I want to know the best monsters to fight to gain the most xp based on what my current lvl is. I am now a lvl 29 berserker. I want to know the best monsters to fight to maximze my xp as i go, not only for this lvl, but all future lvls as i progress. Anyone know where i can get that info? I was told to check this site for a list, or chart of what is best to fight at a particular lvl, but i cant find it.

In general you'll get the best exp by spending your time grouping in dungeon zones. Smiley: smile

Here's some overland areas, as I'm not a big fan of dungeons. Must be all that bad pet pathing...

30-38
Enchanted Lands
Zek, the Orcish Wastes

38-45
Feerott

40-48
Everfrost
Lavastorm

48+
Desert of Flames

Within each of these areas are special dungeons, instances, or mobs that are harder than the level range. Generally, the further and deeper into a zone, the harder the mobs.

Also look at Splitpaw Saga in Thundering Steppes. It is a scalable zone meaning the mobs will be your level range when you fight them.

Bluie is right, the best exp and loot comes from group encounters and heroic mobs. And the only way you can defeat those are in a group. Group encounters are found in all areas of the zones, you just need to look for them. Believe me, it won't take long to find them. :)

Just to add to this, they recently upped the effectiveness of some of the dungeons. At your level try out RoV, the mobs might be kinda low, but Ive found that pulling lower level mobs very quickly will get you massive amounts of xp. Im talking I went from 41-43 in less that 2 hours in RV killing blue and green blightrats. So try out RoV (Ruins of Varsoon incase you didnt know), when you get a couple more levels, head to Runnyeye which you get to through the Enchanted Lands, and head to Rivervale at about 36 or 37, then once you hit 43 or so, make your way to the Temple of Cazic Thule.
