I needa little help on my bard. Should he get a bigger group? Or should he solo. He is a Half-Elf, 13 season. He uses quick kills. (Supa' fast combos with both upclose magic and fighting) He can kill oranages in 2 combos. Help out.

If you want to group, just register while you solo, but overall it doesnt matter.

Grouping lets you get a better chance of good loot, and slightly faster xp. Soloing does not put you at the mercy of those you group with, and you will make more money and can work on your quests.

Overall for me it depends on my mood. If I want to deal with others I LFG, but if I feel a little antisocial or dont have much time I solo.

Get your armor and spells up to the best you can afford. Armor level should be close to your own AND give a AGI bonus (boosts your power pool). Spells should be Adept 1.

Review what spells take concentration and what they do. Meaning, you don't need a Run buff when you are in combat. If you are solo, you will want something to add to your defense. If you are in a party, you will want party buffs for attack speed, health, or power regen.

If you are the only Scout class in the party, you should be the one to start the HO's.

Get to level 25 so you can get Evac. Your battle-weary party about to get wiped will love you. :)

If you are below level 20, you will be presented with the Armor Quest when you get to level 20. Although it may be good for a few levels, you will quickly outgrow it. Best to get armor from the broker that suits you better.

Do a seatch for game databases (like Ogaming) for items that give you AGI bonus. And when at the broker, also narrow your search to items with AGI.

Always use dual wield!

Pretty much ditto on some of the other suggestions. AGI is king...when your given the O Mighty + bonus at certain lvls...if one of the choices allows you to increase your AGI score...take it.

Either thru drops or broker..try to keep a lvl ahead in your inventory of adept 1s or better for your skills.

Make really good hotkeys allowing lots of diff abilites. ie...I have 5 concentration slots worth of buffs loaded onto 3 hotkeys...i click on those and they self load all my buffs onto me..and anyone im grouped with without having to individually click each buff or have it take up room on another hotkey bar.
Another hotkey starts and finishes my best option for HOs..with a line on it announcing to anyone im grouped with that im starting the HO.
Yet another hotkey is set up to use of Escape/evac.
Another has my snare spell set up so I can toggle off autoattack..cast snare..and run away to hit another range shot before breaking the snare.
(out of breath) and another to toggle off attack..drop into sneak mode...and backstab..this of course if im grouped with others.

Get good at using all your skills...dont rely too heavily on just duking it out with damage...your fast...but your not made like a tank. I have my hotkeys set up to take best advantage of doing damage with my damage spells and combat skills...but I still keep cheap shot loaded for a nice stun...while they are groggy..they aint hittin the froggy...I also keep my ae debuffer up that currently lowers combat attributes of mobs. I'm doing solo ^^mobs and some ^^^ green heroic types.
