general crafting questionFollow

does crafting in eqII get affected by the players stats. In eqI players would wear tradeskill outfits and get INT buffs to get skill ups faster. This means some classes were much more suited to tradeskills. I am just wondering if it is better to make a tradeskill alt or go with my main (shadowknight).

In a word, no. Int and Wis have no efect on crafting in EQ2. In fact, there are many players who choose to "craft naked"! The reasoning behind this has to do with the fact that the buffs cast while crafting cost a fixed percentage of your power pool while regen remains a specific number of poits per tick. So, a smaller pool will regen faster and allow you to cast more buffs.
