Hex Dolls and their useFollow

I just entered the wonderful world of Hex Dolls. I took on Grolven Chiptooth and soloed him soooo easily. He only hit me for a total of 100hps the whole fight. These hex dolls are mighty nice. I was never really interested in them, more due to ignorance than anything else, and didn't care to have one. Now, I will never be without. As a guardian, I chose the hex of fright, which is by no means one of the best out there, but good for a lvl 24, that decreases their attack by 10-14% and adds +4 str. That is a substantial decrease to their attack and a nice boost to my strength. This brings me to my question(s).

If I use it more than once in a fight against the same mob, does the decrease stack? Also, does the effect wear off or does it stick the entire fight?

Edited for clarity

A Hex Doll works the same as a spell...

If you recast it upon the mob, it will start anew, not stack.

Also, you cannot stack 2 identical Hex Dolls on the same target. That's effectively casting the same spell on the target. First one cancels, new one takes it's place.

Just went in-game to test it. My Pristne Imbued Chaos Burlap Hex doll casts magic mitigation that lasts for 1 minute 48 seconds. That leads me to believe that higher quality dolls last longer.

Also, the icon does not grey out after it's been cast, telling you when it's ready. You just have to count the 2 seconds and click again.

Additionally, I tried to right click the icon on my maintained spells bar, didn't show anything.

I've also only heard about these dolls. I've never used them up until now (lvl 33 Troub). Questions:

Can a Troub use them?
If so, where can I obtain/buy them?
Do they have a limited use? (i.e. like 5 charges and that's it, dead doll)
Can anyone craft them? (guess I could look in my recipe book for that one)

Any answers gratefully received

Yes. Anyone can use the Hex Dolls. It just depends on your level as to which ones you can use.

Broker or an Outfitter/Tailoring friend you might have.

Unlimited use. No charges.

No. Outfitters can start crafting them at level 19 and from then on, you need a tailor.

You can get them from player sellers on the broker.

Dolls can only be made by tailors and the recipes are found in the "imbue" books, (since all dolls are imbued), along with the rest of the tailor imbue recipes.

In addition, they came in two flavors - regular dolls made from the common root along with the extract for that tier and also rare dolls (made from the rare root along with the extract for that tier). The rares are far more powerful... and far more expensive.
