I am thinking about buying a computer that someone I know is selling, but I wanted to know if it would be able to run EQ2. The computer is an AMD Athlon XP2600+, DVD, CD-RW, Geforce FX5700LE, 480 Watt, power supply, 120 GB hard drive, 17-inch monitor, 512 MB RAM, Win XP home. I know I didn't need to list the monitor and everything, but I am just typing. Also, would $300 be a good deal on this computer? I can pull 512 RAM out of my computer that I have right now. Really what I need to know is the processor good enough and is the video card going to work?

1gb RAM minimum for you. [I wouldn't go over 1gb though, it hasn't help EQ2 much for me, just made it easier for me to do other things at the same time]. Plus a 5900 rather than a 5700. An excellent upgrade would be a 6600GT or an X800XL/6800GT.
