Broker still down???Follow

Is Offline selling still down. Sitting here @ work and trying to find something on SoE's boards. Can't find anything and wondering if anyone knows.

I think I bought something from the broker while they were supposedly down. I had missed any system messages or whatever mode was used to alert the community to them being down in the first place. It wasn't until I saw a message that was a reminder that the brokers were still unavailable. That's when I stopped and check on a couple of items I had just purchased.

I thought I had gotten a great bargain on a couple of things I bought for my son's new character. I don't remember exactly what I paid but it was around 3 gold total for a pristine rug (had never seen one like that before) and an alley cat (don't recall ever seeing a cat for sale before). When I checked my bags I had neither of my purchases nor the gold.

I didn't send in a bug report and chalked up to a lesson. If a bargain looks too good it probablly is.

Broker has been up for a day or so on Toxx. But I have noticed an odd side effect, I use the broker in the TS instance and now when I leave the zone after making a purchase, I hear the incoming/outgoing cash sound bite. Can't tell if I'm losing/gaining any coin but since it's only happened a couple times but I will be keeping a closer eye on things now.

Zoo, the alley cats and several other versions of domestic feline should be available in the pet store in your city. Can't remember prices but they didn't seem too expensive. (Cheaper than my dog anyway!) Don't know where the FP pet store is but I can describe the location of the Qeynos branch if you need it.

This may well be happening - I'm not saying it's not, but in my case, I got to keep the items and did spend the coin.

I bought several spell upgrades for my warden, saw them land in my inventory and scribed them on the spot. Later on, I also bought some food which I then put into shared bank. It was still there this morning.

Well now I'm not sure what's going on. I managed to sell some stuff out of my house vault, and see the coin added to my totals.

But when trying to buy via the broker, I could not buy from one player who was selling from *his* vault, and yet I *could* buy from another player standing in his inn room.

Looks like it's partially still broken.
