That would just suck to have commericals in Everquest. Hope it never comes to that. I am paying $17.99 a month and don't feel that I need any more commercial bombardment.
Listening to the radio and TV give me a headache. 10 minutes of quality entertainment combined with 20 minutes of idiotic commerical and ads. Therefore I turn the radio/tv off.
I would hate to have to do that to EQ2.
P.S wonder if they would charge an "extra fee" to keep the game commerical free like some well know websites???? jk!

Ugh. But if they are going to do that...it'd be nice for them to use the extra money to lower the subscription fee. :)
Not that I'm in favor of gaming billboards. Chances are, I wouldn't want to buy anything advertised...and they'd cause more lag!
