So we send you stuff free, but then we pay?Follow

So let me get this straight. We send you(allakhazam.com) information on the quests and items that we find out. But yet we have to come back and pay to look at that information? Unless of course we want 50 million popups coming up. Doesnt seem right to me.

I have Earthlink total access Popup Blocker and Scam Blocker and I never see a single popup on ANY sites... even pop-up heavy ones (like allakhazam)

Get a popup blocker. I use Google, it works great. Even if it does have some spy ware in it, which can be removed with Search and Destroy.

You dont have to pay. The site couldn't keep running if people didn't sign up for premium services.

Information = free
special goodies and no ads = cheaper than Starbucks.

Well worth the cost when you consider the amount of information provided on this site and the work it takes to put it all together.

They aren't getting rich running this site (if they are making a profit at all).

Better yet get a new browser, I use firefox and I havnt seen a popup in...well since I installed it :)

IE is full of security holes, its a dangerous browser to use.

It is a VERY small price to pay for the ability to look up information on the game. Allah does an excellent job with the site and it can not be said enough that the expense of time and effort, not to mention the actual costs of running a major web site, far exceede the minimal cost of a premium membership.

Proud premium member,

Another Firefox user here, pop-up free for 1 year, feel the Mozilla love!

Of course, if you have Windows XP service pack two, it includes an update to Internet Explorer which can block pop-up ads.

I would stay away from add on tools that say they will block pop-ups; while some may be legit there are others that will just put spyware and adware on your system.

Cheers,
Psilo

Alot of the information here does come from people who use the site, but in most cases it has to be formatted for entry into the database, and someone has to go find the missing info

Use FireFox web browser it blocks popups. Just do a google search for firefox and follow the link.

As far as paying for Alla, this is a great site with lots of information. It's very cheep to get a premium membership and considering all the information Ive gotten from this site, IMO, well woth it.

There is an old saying that " Information Is Power" ..By accessing this site you are buying into the availability of power to accomplish more in the activity you enjoy . I.E. " The Game "
I dont know how many times I have been able to do a quest more quickly , make a recipe for Stat food , find the Mob I want and know better how to kill it all because I was able to come to this site and get what I needed to do all those things .
Im happy to continue to pay the small amount of money it takes to enjoy that access to Information and be " More Powerful" and Helpful in the Game .
