Any thoughts on the card that Nvidia is packaging with a "free" ( rebate ) copy of EQII through Best Buy?

FX5500 oC 256 AGP.

Is this a decent card that will last for a while or are they trying to dump 5 series stacked up now that 6 series are around? I'm planning to buy a new card soon ( ATI 9800 AGP with 128M being moved to the older machine with 64M card on it ) and would like any input

I wouldn't buy that card if i were you. If your buying a new card now, consider nothing less than one of these. GEFORCE 5700 ULTRA,GEFORCE 5900,RADEON 9600XT,RADEON 9800 PRO,OR THE NEWER CARDS UNDER $200 GEFORCE 6600 OR 6600GT, OR RADEON X700. Nothing below those cards is going to run EQ2 very well i'm afraid.

Keep in mind...SOE is notorious for not supporting ATI chipsets very well.

Personally I have found that "bundled" and X% savings items usually are very high priced to begin with. I dunno about ATI problems, but I haven't had any problems with this mobility card.
