Hey everyone. I had an idea to make a thread where people can post when they get their copy of EQ2 to give people who haven't got theirs yet some kind of hope. Leave your city/area, date, where you got it, and around what time you were able to physically have your hands on your copy of the game. Thanks!

Mine is set to be delivered this afternoon sometime, and i have to pick up my other 2 copies at midnight along with some friends. I hope everybody gets their copies in a fast, timely way so we all can start enjoying this game.

Lol ... pity us poor Euro's releases here happen on a Friday .... so 4 more days (minimum) to wait.
Couldnt really justify having a copy flown over :)
Still hopefully any release issues will be sorted by then, cross your fingers and hope antonica stays up ...lol

Where did you preorder it then? i preorded it at SOE and with the ups tracking system i see that its already in the netherlands

Got mine from gameplay uk ... decided against the delivery charge from US.
All fun anyway ...hope you get it ontime for tommorow :)

EB Games in Athens GA won't release it until tuesday (as usual) but will stay open till 3 am for Halo 2. So at 10 AM EST I will have my very own copy! :) edit: tuesday is release day (long day at work) but they stay open till 3 am in the morning (monday night) to deliver Halo 2. Stupid me :P

In downtown Toronto, went to EB Games on Sunday pre-ordered two copies of the Collectors Edition - they told us Wednesday due to "production problems". I suppose we could have gone with the regular edition, but we really want the bonus items and one more day's wait is not that bad.
Alot of EBs are selling it today btw

Hi, I have been a lurker, but will be posting more once I get my copy.
I played EQOA for 2 years. And was in the Beta for EQ2 as a Dark Elf Summoner.
We are getting ours around 6pm. It is availiable at 2pm, I called them-but my husband doesn't get out for work until 5:30pm. We pre-ordered it from EBGames, and we(and the store) are in Derry, NH.

EB in my area is handing out pre-orders today, but nobody else untill tommarow.

My ocal gamestop just called and they said that both my extra dvd copy AND collector's edition will be available at midnight. Fedex delivered my other copy 1/2 ago.

Got my copy too (UK), but has anyone got it to work yet, keep getting 404 Forbidden errors.
I just called my local Game Stop where I pre-ordered the game, and they said they aren't selling it today. They are open at midnight for Halo 2, but said they won't be selling EQ2 then, either. I'll have to wait until after 2:00 pm Tuesday to pick it up.
This is in Dallas, TX, by the way.

Where did you get a tracking number from SOE? The only thing I am told on the Station Store is "This order is being fulfilled". They charged me on the 4th. I was charged $8.95 for shipping.

I just calledmy local eb games in Michigan and they said they are getting EQ2 around 2:30-3:00 today so I can go pickit up then!!!!!! *does the happy dance*

Arrrg .. I ordered from Sony then canceled thinking EBgames would be faster (I cant remember why I thought this)

Well, good news bad news. Got my copy at 11:00am on long Island from game stop, bad news, after i installed it and tried to set up a subscription I couldnt. So im sitting here staring at the EQ2 icon and cant evan get the subscription stuff out of the way. Why o why didnt they make the servers go live today....

I was charged the 5th and order is still being fulfilled. I checked out SoE's FAQ and it says they send a total of 3 emails with pre-orders. The first is to confirm the placement of your pre-order. The second is to inform you when your pre-order becomes a full order. The last is to inform you when it ships out and should contain the tracking number if applicable. Also according to their FAQ, orders generally ship 1 to 2 business days from the date they are officially recieved. I'm guessing this includes when pre-orders become offical orders.
Knowing all this info, I'm guessing our orders will ship out today or tomorrow barring anything major. Given it's a major release, I'm expecting things to take a little longer than normal to get out the door. I picked Next Day Air for this very reason. While I doubt Next Day Air orders get any special treatment in how orders are filled at SoE, I can atleast expect it the day after it ships unless I'm unlucky.

My UPS tracker information says Billing information received UPS has received shipper's billing information electronically. Billing information received does not indicate shipment pickup or drop-off. Please contact the shipper for more details.

but the real question is has anyone been able to log in or is the login server not being brought up until 10am est tomorrow?
