Hello all. I just had a quick question....i know that the zones and such will change along with some other subtle differences, but will battle pretty much be...enter instanced scenario or enter zone and head to desired camp spot...pull kill rest for a shorter time now...and repeat? Cause if so that would be nice...i was just hoping it wouldnt be like EQOA where its more of an action game then rpg...and i know camping exp may be boring to some but i liked it...talking with others and some of those memories :). Well thats about it i know this is kinda a newbish question but hey u fight almost the whole time u play...gotta know what its like hehe :P

That's fairly close. It won't be like in EQL where you can turn on attack and walk away for a minute. You have special skills/spells that you get every level to make you more formidable. Lots of times if you walk up to an even con mob and just turn on attack and do nothing else it will be a 50/50 survival rate. Also they put in Heroic Opportunites which are kinda like combo moves of your different skills/spells to give you extra damage or defensive benefits. Down time between fights is very minimal even soloing and the only thing that will slow you down if you're camping a spawn area is the spawn timer itself if there aren't a lot of mobs that spawn in that area.

ahhh alright thanks...yea i know about the whole dont just click and leave type deal...but i was just wondering if it wasnt like an action game where u are killing and running at the same time and no "camping" or anything at all...i know that quests are a big part of xping...and by the sound of it there are thousands and thats only to like lvl 20 lol...which makes me SOO HAPPY hehe...i LOVE LOVE quests but eql didnt seem to have that many that give good rewards or exp..so i will be doing lots of them...i just wonder what high lvl camping/ grinding/questing will be like :)

See you all Tuesday Morning hehe

You can definitely camp or roam (at least in my experience you could). Dungeons tend to be a bit more 'camp' oriented, but it's quite easy to roam say Nektulos Forest and kill along the way if that's what you want. Bear in mind you can quest for good xp, and quests tend to promote movement (i.e. kill 4 things here, then move on and kill 4 more over here, and so on).

And with all the instancing going on the zones are not over populated like in EQ1. There usually plenty of mobs that can be found. Especially Quest mobs, seems like during beta (and I was on a server that was overpopulated) I never ran into a problem where there was a waiting list for people to kill a specific mob. Even problems findign groups is easy (I played a priest class and they are in high demand, were times where I got spammed every 30 seconds to join a group because healers where needed). What's nice is any healer class can keep the group alive. There is no one priest class that is better than the other. They specialize in specific heal ability... i.e. Regen or Wards but they all work out to keep you alive. Main problem is keeping the healer alive, seems heal spells attract a lot of aggro and the melee types have to be ready to taunt after a priest heals someone.
