Well, this week was not what I had hoped.

Things of note:
3 star on BSM now (without food).
I got this last night because I was close and a friend wanted me to try to make her a forager's sledgehammer. Once I overcame the requirements, she decided that the mats were too expensive...
Changed retainer from miner to conjurer.
I don't really know if this was wise, but I have a botanist and a fisher as well.
Finished shooting Valentine's video.
Proceeded to not accomplish any of my other goals from the last thread.

Missing out on those goals wasn't such a big deal though. My biggest disappointment this week was that I didn't get a WoD drop (I need to stop being so picky, otherwise this'll happen again.) I don't have any big plans this week:

Attempt Odin
FSH30
Test out 3star BSM
Make offhands for other crafts
NIN15
T5 perhaps?

Hopefully this week will be better for in-game progress, though the video will be well worth the delay, I'm sure.

Update: All goals on track by the reset. It might be a challenge to keep the next few days until 2/12 in line, but I at least have the start I need.

Direct goals:

- 1525 more soldiery to finish Nexus path.
- 7 more dungeons to do (Aurum Vale, Dzemael Darkhold, Stone Vigil Hard, Halatali Hard, Snowcloak, Lost City of Amdapor and Sastasha Hard).

Indirect goals:

- Weaver to 3-star by means of 5x HQ Vanya for a book and 10x tool items.
- Fill up retainers with stuff to sell for some gil income again.
- Start the new Hildi things, i'm still stuck at the Coliseum fight right now.
- Mine and Harvest for materials. Maybe fish a little too :)

Not the hardest goals this week, but i already completed every single one of them.

Just the drop for Stone Vigil (Hard) left to get and i have an Excalibur.

Thinking of spending my next batch of soldiery (and poetics) on the i110 weapon for BLM and reviving that from it's i90/i100 gear. I loved BLM, and flares are always handy. Will be spending everything i get on getting my BLM up there again.

EXCALIBUR and AEGIS! Woo!

And got my BLM a spiffy new i110 weapon while i was at it. Just the accessories now and it's combat worthy again! But woo!

I'xal quests! On the bright side, I should be able to use them to push my remaining 4 crafting jobs to 50 pretty easily.

So apparently I was really close to finishing those when I stopped doing them. It only took a few days for me to finish them up.

Also, I picked up another piece of atma last night to put me at 4/12!

By the end of next week I hope to have another 3 done.. 4 if the soldiery rains from the heavens.

Did a book yesterday and 2 books today. I'm now at 7/9 books complete and unless a meteor lands on my house or something, there's no reason I won't have my animus done by the end of the week.

Now.. having done two books in a single day... I think I'll go curl into a ball for a while and try to stop seeing FATE maps whenever I close my eyes.

Got my bard boots on my second WoD run last night. Unfortunately, they don't match the rest of my glamour.... so I either have to build a new outfit around them, or glamour over them back to Bogatyr thigh boots. #xivfashionproblems

Except for WoD, I pretty much got everything done this week. A good week indeed.

Update on goals for the week

Valkayree wrote:

Next Week Goals:

1. Monday - Beat T11 and work on T12.

2. Wednesday - Beat T10 and T11 and hopefully get my tomestone.

3. Other than that, cap poetics, get my weekly carboncoat, and get my WoD drop. Run dungeons for zodiac and keep building light.

1. Beat T11 monday, got a carboncoat. We got to phase 2 in T12.

2. Last night we beat t10 and t11, and I finally got my tomestone Smiley: grinSmiley: nodSmiley: coolSmiley: lol. That 15 ilvl boost pushed my dps through the roof. I ran an expert last night and was pulling hate off the warrior. I feel powerful again Smiley: sly Also, since my offspec is caster and our caster already has it, I got to lot on the buttwings (caster coat) that dropped. Was up against the whm. Rolled a 33 of course. Lost out, but alas, I can rest assured that the next time it drops it will be mine. Oh yes.... it will... be mine.

Also, finally beat t12 phase 2 for the first time (the bennu party) and got to the final phase with the fountains (phase 3). I like to think it was because my dps jumped 50 points.

3. Still need ST and CT for the carboncoat.
Caster will get outfitted by offpec final coil and WoD from now on. Picked up the caster gloves from WoD last night. Got gloves and shoes so far.
Bard needs t12-t13 stuff (pants, coat, weapon) and he is done. Well wait, I need 1300 allied seals for a twine to upgrade his boots too. So that goes to him.
Tank gets all poetics from this point. Been outfitting my tank with poetic + carboncoat accessories.
All jobs are officially geared in 110 accessories. I have literally no more use for oil of time. Feels good. Lowest jobs at 106 (healers and drg). Still need sands.

Yoichi bow is still needed however. While the ilvl 130 bow gets me a lot further along for now, it has spell speed Smiley: glare, and I need my custom stats on the relic to give me that little boost of acc I'm going to need to stat cap my dps. I'm back in the routine of having to switch gear dependant on the situation. My acc is too low for fcob when I pump damage to the max, so I have to compensate so I can hit the boss. Fortunately, I can switch out my coat (WoD or Kirimu), gloves (dreadwyrm or ilvl 130 poetic) and ears (dreadwyrm or ilvl 130 poetic) to work whatever build I need.

So I glamoured my relic with the new bow in a sky blue color (so I visibly know when it is on) and I will continue the good fight. I've come this far right? And plus, I have to lap Illsaide Smiley: tongue

1466 / 2000. 2/32 dungeons. AK and Bray HM are down. Everything else obtained. Binge watching Walking Dead with my wife to get her caught up has slowed my pace considerably, but I wouldn't miss it for the world. She started watching with me the first episode of the second half of season 4 and is current through season 5. We now have made it through season 1 and 2 and are through the first episode of season 3. Hopefully we can finish it and get caught up by this weekend.

Final report for the week.

Rank 24 on PvP On Hyrist. I've got my Lionsmane Armlet and I'm saving for my body. My mentality: Save up for the armor I want now, then in the time between when I have the armor and when I have the rank, I can cash in on Wolf marks by burning the lower level gear into Grand Company Seals, which then become sellable consumables like Coke to make Gil.

Speaking of Sellable consumables...

For Lin, I am 24/75 on my Novus scroll. My accuracy materia is one Alexandrite and meld attempt from being done! Shiva Ex has also been defeated which netted her a true Ice Bracelent of Slaying - a nice little bit of unexpected progress.
