I forgot my Final Fantasy XIV log in password, but anytime I try to reset it it calls for this one time security token.
I have never had a security token, nor have I heard of one until now. I haven't played the game since a year or two ago on my PS3.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem. I've tried getting a security token but it says i have to log in to do such, which my problem starts all over again with not knowing the password.

If you never had a security token (or the smartphone app that does the same thing) then it sounds like your account was compromised, probably a long time ago, and whoever did that added a token to it to keep you from getting it back.
I know this is the last thing you'll want to hear. But you're going to have to pour yourself a stiff drink and call SE customer service. Make that two drinks.
Have as much information as humanly possible including the original product key.

Similar thing happened to me and when I asked for SE's help they sent me an e-mail telling me that I was a criminal and banned my account for eternity. Great customer service.
