The way to mess with people using Radar is to rename your chocobo to one of the A rank or S rank mobs. Smiley: lol

Sadly as it caused the cheaters to get extremely butthurt they updated the radar plugin for FFXIVAPP so it clearly marks what is/isn't a chocobo. Normally iirc, you renamed Chocobos at the Chocobo NPC inside the cities.

Well that just sucks, after seeing that happen yesterday, I realized that I am just to laid back for the Zerg trains that are hunting LS's. Now I am not saying that all hunting LS's or people in them are cheaters using this radar software, but they just appear to me to be in to big of a hurry to get the next best gear.

I will take my time and enjoy the trip and hopefully by doing so ffxiv will continue to feel like a game and not a second job.

If you have an FC stable, you can also rename your chocobo there.

That only actually works if they aren't using filters. All personal chocobo's show up with a little "Chocobo" symbol.

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

If there were another way to gain Allied Seals, and/or another way to gain Sands of Time besides dedicating a minimum of one night a week to a static, maybe the Hunts would become more manageable for everyone.

When are Sands coming to Syrcus Tower? Seems like that would really help.

I'd be wary in presuming to know what the soloists are or aren't doing. What is definite is that XIV's evaluation system doesn't favor soloists. Personally, I tend to solo stuff as often as possible to avoid the hassle of waiting for party members and putting up with the bads you do get from time to time. If XIV had a public party system, I'd certainly cut it some more slack, but it doesn't, so the burden of overcoming the evaluation metrics is solely on the individual. We've got no ! by our names like in XI if we're LFG. I can't even recall of searches differentiate between people solo or not here. Good luck navigating a long player list in the heat of battle, anyway.

So, while I agree buffing the bills was a good move, I'm more inclined to call this an overall nerf alongside SE not taking the needed steps to better the system for everyone. Done right, it won't matter if you're casual or hardcore, you'd just have to try to participate. Tossing 200-some table scraps in seals to the casuals via Bs may seem like a compromise, but part of the casual dilemma in MMOs is they don't often realize how much they're getting screwed by skewed rewards. "It's better than nothing!" is a common fallback when a lot of the time it's just the devs being stubborn and/or lazy.

As always, whether in the ffxi or ffxiv forums, you tend to hit the nail on the head every time
agree 100%
