leaf symbol and titles?Follow

what does the leaf symbol Ive seen next to ppls name mean? Also how do you get titles? from some of the titles Ive seen people witch I know Ive done the things that would warrant those titles but I dont have a title.. i know in FFXI all you had to do was do the quest/mission that granted a certain title then the title was put on you automatically (while you could manually change to whichever title you wanted that you previously obtained through an NPC).

Titles are gained from completing certain achievements. You can see which ones give titles in the achievement log, they have a little medal symbol on them and if you click on it, it will display the title rewarded.
