So, let's say that i buy the ps3 version of FF XIV (already have PS4) and of course add that license on mog station. (I have 2 characters on the same server) can i play my character in my server on the ps4 while somebody else plays the other character on that same server?
And only pay for one account?

No, i'll pay for both licenses on the same mog station account :p
Yes, there is a way to have 2 accounts tied to one log in. I'm not sure how to set it up, but my account has my main character on one part of the account, and my partner's character on the other. I have to pay full price for both accounts, but when I log in, it prompts if I want to log into account one or two.

Ah, so if i add account 2 does can i still choose my character from account 1? (Assuming it's technically still one account) if not? Can i transfer my character to account 2? Or do i need to start over again? (I got no probs with that though)

I was curious about this as well as I want to run a VM and dual box on one PC. Only thing I didn't know was whether or not I will have to assign the VM a separate IP and if I could have two service accounts through my one SE account.
So it would seem I would have to make a separate SE account to have two simultaneous logins?

I just want to know if i can add a ps3 license and play both ps4 and ps3 -.- so that means i pay €26 a month for 2 licenses on my account.

There are two issues you'll face: Platforms and Accounts.
A Square Enix account can have up to 8 Final Fantasy XIV accounts attached to it, and each of these accounts can be played at the same time. Every time you add a new Final Fantasy registration code, you'll have the option to create a new Final Fantasy account with it, or attach it to one of your existing accounts.
The reason you can attach it to an existing account leads to the second issue, platforms. Each Final Fantasy account is restricted to the platforms you registered your account with. So someone who registered their account with the PC version of the game won't automatically be able to play on a PS4 until they also register a PS4 code to their account.
So take this example:
Your SE Account has two Final Fantasy Accounts called Final Fantasy XIV 1 and 2.
Final Fantasy XIV 1 is registered with the PS4 and has the characters Apple and Banana.
Final Fantasy XIV 2 is registered with the PS3 and has the characters Peach and Pear.
You can play as Apple and Peach at the same time provided Apple is on the PS4 and Peach is on the PS3, likewise with Banana and Pear. You can't play as Apple or Banana on the PS3 because Final Fantasy XIV 1 hasn't been registered with the PS3 (you'll need another code for that), likewise you won't be able to play Peach and Pear on the PS4. You also can't play with Apple and Banana at the same time because they belong to the same account, likewise with Peach and Pear. You can't transfer individual characters between accounts but it may be possible to permanently merge the accounts (I'm not sure how hard it is to do this).

So, if i add the console to my service account it allows me to play both characters on the same time? Because there is an option on mog station which says "add platform" to the same service account. Jus wondering.

So, to continue with the last example, if you register a PS3 code with the Final Fantasy XIV 1 account so that it now allows you to play on the PS3 or the PS4, you still won't be able to play as Apple and Banana at the same time, even if you try to use a PS3 and PS4 simultaneously. A Final Fantasy account can't be logged into more than once, even from multiple platforms. Registering multiple platforms just gives you a choice as to which platform you can log in from.
You cannot login to the same account from two sources at the same time. If you login on your PS4 and then try to login to the same account on PS3, you'll get booted out to the title screen on your PS4. The only way to do what you want to do is to transfer your second character to a separate account, but I don't believe SE allows that.
