Considering Yoshi P's own words, it's very likely tome items or a new item altogether despite being coeurl print, since they said it's 3 star, so he doesn't want to give out info or hints that could cause an economy shift before the update (his own words.)

I'm actually rather interested in finding out about those more glowier versions of Wolfram, Saurian, and Cashmere gear that the primal weapon-holding characters had. Considering that I largely make my own i90 gear instead of banging my head against pub First Coil groups, and am still just rounding out getting i100 ring accessories with Soldiery for my DoM jobs to avoid having an errant i70 ring, any chance to lengthen the lifespan of crafted gear makes me happy.

Not really a fan of the CT armors, especially since the caster stuff are palette swaps of each other. :(

Ramuh music sounds cool at least.

If you mean these, they are the new CT armor:

My question is this...

What is Ramuh hiding in that enormous beard!?

I'm also amused that all the people who thought we were getting lingerie for the "sleepwear" will instead be getting a Victorian era nightgown and nightcap.

I do not. Look at between 5:48 and 5:52. Besides the augmented-looking Hard Mode Primal weapons, the i90 crafted gear they're all wearing also has a glow about the shoulder areas.

I'm not sure why anyone would have thought it would be lingerie of any kind lol.

Last time we got tiny metal bikinis, and we're about to get coeurl print swimsuits. It's not THAT far fecthed.

Looks like they taped the lion mount to his face.

Also:
Hunt and Moogle quest information is out

Quote:
Both regular and elite bills list a bounty for their indicated marks. This bounty will be paid in full once the marks have been slain. Allied Seals received from the Hunt can be exchanged for exclusive wares by speaking with the Hunt Billmaster at your Grand Company. Rewards include weapons, armor, minions, sands of time, oil of time, and alexandrite.

Basically, Sands, Oils, and Alex as rewards for your Allied seals from hunts. =D

I'm so psyched for this update. It seems overwhelming.

While I am sure that the cost will be staggering (likely receive 5 seals for daily hunt and 30 seals for weekly hunt and the oil and sand will cost 500-800 or something), this plus the chance to get the sand to drop in CT gives me the opportunity to finally get the items I want since the static coil thing hasnt really worked out for me this go. But all the new cool activities will ensure that outside of my daily extreme roulette I will be in CT2, doing this weekly hunt, and be spending the rest of my time in frontlines. So much to do its becoming impossible to do it all. That is how it should be imo. I seriously need to grind out these last three animus books ><

This.

I'm ALMOST done unlocking the daily Alexandrite quest, at which point I'll consider myself "done" with hardcore myth grinding.

Then I'll be back to daily roulettes, leveling my alts and maybe getting back to crafting a bit... doing maps to get Alexandrite... doing some BC1 farming... learning Titan EX... and soon there will be CT2 and hunts to add to the mix. And Frontlines, which actually makes PvP look kind of fun!

And this is only a patch, folks. Smiley: smile

How much of this will be locked behind extreme mode primals?

None of it. As of 2.3, you won't need Ifrit or Titan EX to battle Leviathan or Ramuh. SE is learning!

I'm really looking forward to this update. They're slowly adding more and more for you to do and now it feels like with more CT, the Hunts and Frontlines I'll have a couple more things I want to do. I've done the Extremes with the exception of Leviathan and it will be nice to be able to do Levi and KM with friends who have hit the brick wall of Titan Ex. I've lost all interest in Coil v2 for some reason so having access to the drops from them (albeit with less frequency) is amazing. I do wonder if not nearly as many people have jumped into the Second Turn as they'd hoped.

Looks like my character will get to dress up like Tarzan!

Other than that, my two main priorities will be the new Hildibrand quests and chocobo raising. Sure, there's serious stuff to do, but I think I'm looking forward to those more than anything else.

If they didn't show them with the header of "new recipes" I would guess they were the gear for the next GC ranks. Looks like the same sets that already exist for the ilvl70+ recipes: tank, healer, caster, mnk, drg, and brd. I'm not sure why they would make another set of ilvl90 crafted gear, and I don't see them adding in ilvl100 yet.

Maybe it is just my server, but absolutely no party finder advertising for T6, half the server or more seems to be stuck at T5, and the entire second turn feels so... exclusive.
