is what i heard about liveletter true?Follow
in a brayflox pt today someone mentioned hat in live letter last night they stated that would be "adjusting" mythology rates, is that true? if so you woulda think that woulda been mentioned in that highlights from liveletter post/thread soo imma bit skeptical
Gains will be increased similar to how philosophy rates were a bit back. The comment was made in relation to Zodiac weapons and if Atma and other things would be adjusted. Right now, though, Atma will still be a cockblock.

i wonder fif it will be EXACTLY how philosophy was? i.e 100 per dungeon and 300 for main scenario roulette lol.
Also if i read it right these adjustments wont take place until at LEAST 2.3 meaning when 2.28 comes out we'll still have to crap myth rate lol.
lastly if Zodiac is gonna be il110 like the letter says when what il with Novus be? speaking of Zodiac will the il be increased eventually i would hope we wouldnt do ALL this work for the weapon just to forever stay at il110 while other things eventually get as far as il200 and beyond. (i ask that question because in the previous letter pre 2.2 the said relic upgrades will continue until 2.3 as if to insinuate that 2.3 is the end with nothing further coming after that?
It keeps mentioning Zodiac but no mention of Novus which I assume is the next upgrade to hit which will come before zodiac (which should be the completed weapon).
If Zodiac is the completed weapon then what will they call it when il upgrades come (i mean at first it was relic, now zodiac soo Im guessing something comes next right?), if something does come after zodiac or if nothing does come after zodiac but the il is just constantly upgraded can you really call it "complete" then until its actually.. you know... complete (ie no more upgrades).

sooo if Zodiac comes after Animus again.. what happened to Novus?

Does that mean youll need Alexandrite to use the scrolls or alexandrite to use the weapons?
Im happy they introducing something new specifically for relic (alexandrite) but i hope getting it is stuff also new and not just going through old content and grinding stuff weve done before to get it (like grinding fates for atma).
Lastly i hope alexandrite isnt capped, the "fun" thing about getting animus and atama is that although the drop rates make it take forever theres no artificially roadblocks (weekly cap) so you have a reason to log in everyday and play all day until yo get it WHILE you wait for youre other artificially roadblocks to reset (i.e soldiery tomes, coil t6-9 and the upcoming CT 2). Sooo pleeassee SE keep the relic stuff uncapped.

Novus seems to be the name of the relics after you complete the 2.28 content, just as it was zenith prior, etc.. Perhaps a bit convoluted, but a bit more creative than just going Curtana +1, +2, +3, to infinity. From there, the scrolls/Alexandrite are sounding like they'll allow the player to customize the weapons to a degree. Want to keep pumping STR into your Curtana? Go for it. Though, I imagine these costs will scale in a manner that eventually choosing other upgrades will be wiser and more economically sound if there aren't caps in place. To that end, while they may be listed as i110, their effective ilvl could be much higher with upgrades in place much like materia "levels" crafted gear in terms of raw stats without the ilvl changing.
Still, we're pretty much in the dark on the system specifics, so even the above is pretty much speculation from me. I'll agree that capping/gating will suck, but that seems to be Yoshi's thing.
