Stack to 99, set per DoH, ontop of ingredients we don't know yet for the final product, plus your vanity set which will likely rest in your armoury chest initially which means extra space taken away from gear sets you actively use for your current classes which includes said DoH (likely DoL as well) and your DoW/DoM...yes it will take up THAT much space lol.

That's why I'm not necessarily defending the guy who always get attacked...but in this case, he got attacked simply because it's him as what he brought up is a completely legitimate concern. So unless they were smart and made them retroactive off the bat, expect to be hurting on space while you initially start glamouring.

It's all a matter of choice.

People could carry glamour gear for the one or two jobs they most often play as, and the rest of their glamour stuff could be left in their retainer inventories; this goes for prism craftables, too.

This would have been a huge hassle in FFXI, but in this game, we can return/teleport to cities with ease and be seconds away from summoning bells, then queue up in the DF or PF without even having to go anywhere. There are so few logistical barriers in this game, there's no reason why people can't just put their retainers to better use.

Granted, some players will find themselves with not much space left... but that's a choice, too. There is ALWAYS stuff that can be sold or thrown away. In my opinion, the whole option of paying for a third retainer is only really appealing for people who don't want to make the choice on what they can live without... which is fine, but it's still a choice based on a luxury need, imo.

How come it does not mention anything about the relic?
Nothing about starting the quest for the new upgrade.
How does this affect the relic quest to start a new relic since phil tomes are no longer available? Where will you get the oil? It list the other items bought with tomes are now bought with seals. I cant find anything on the Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil?

What about the Thavnairian Mist?

What about those that are in the middle of their relic?

Just seems weird there is no mention of any of this in the notes: No where to start quest. To me this is one of the more important things..

Has anyone seen anything on this yet?

I bet that the Mist will remain bought with 900 myth (300 per mist), and the oil will shift to being bought with myth (450 if we assume a 2:1 conversion ratio of phil/myth)

Found it.

"Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil can be purchased from Auriana in Revenant’s Toll with Allagan tomestones of mythology. The equipment and items that can currently be purchased with mythology can be purchased in the same way in patch 2.2."

Considering that AK was needed earlier in the relic quest, I would have thought it interesting if they made you do the new Amdapor dungeon coming out in order to get the quenching oil now. But I guess that would have been too adventurous of them.

Quick tip, you can wade through the bulls#$t by clicking "forums" tab in the lodestone and just paying attention to the "Dev Tracker" on the right hand side. That is all that is worth going there for imo.

And they are tight lipped on zodiac weapons. No word yet. Don't want anyone getting a head start I guess.

Trial of the Braves makes me think Primals, since that's what their listed under in DF... what's everyone else think?

Ah, so that's what he means by "takes a long time", because the whole quest won't even be in the patch, not in terms of actual content taking while lol. He did say Relics would take people a long time too.

It sounds like it could be a boss rush type scenario knowing Yoshi's knack for extending stuff needlessly. Could be going through the Extreme Primals to collect 5 items.

As did I, those currency collection and Speed Runs in Aurum Vale and Cutter's Cry in 1.2x of FFXIV sure was artificially extending a quest.

Anyone know if the boat making is supposed to be in this Patch, or was that just mentioned for some future date past 2.2?

I think that's still a future date. This go round has them adding the craft basements to the small houses, because apparently the boat-building and other group crafting activities will take up a lot of room.

I apologize if this was already mentioned within another 2.2 post but there is a 2gb update for the game, if people want to get a head start and get that downloaded and installed. Took about 20 minutes for me.

MMO's sure have come a long way since articially extending everything, like having to pointlessly wait until the next JP midnight to advance a quest. Brings a tear to my eye.

Trial of the Brave:

Whorleater (Extreme)

Trial of the braves is why it will take so long.
Just to do this you have to: first complete the quest "Through the Maelstrom" and have completed The Bowl of Embers (Extreme).

I saw a screenshot of Hildebrande with Gilgamesh in the background. So I suspect that Gilgamesh is going to be a part of that story line and not tied to having a Zenith weapon.

well they updated the patch notes and i noticed even with the new relic upgrades, despite what yoshi said relic still (as of this update) wont be the most powerful/best in game seeing as if im reading this right the zodiac weapons will have names like anima/atimus curtana and be ill100-il110 whereas high alagan weapons which im assuming are coil 6-9 weapons are il115

Bonus Rewards
Gil / Allagan Tomestone of Mythology / Allagan tomestones of soldiery

* The duty Cape Westwind has been removed from Duty Roulette: Low Level.

* The above duty roulette categories are unlocked upon completing all of their associated duties.

Registration for Duty Roulette: High Level now requires the completion of all associated duties.
The above changes to Duty Roulette requirements have been made in light reward adjustments, and to give players further incentive to complete all the duties within each category. Furthermore, because a great number of players who register for Duty Roulette have not cleared all duties within a given category, the above changes should also improve average waiting times for players who register for duties directly.

* All players will be required to fulfill the completion requirements of each Duty Roulette category even if they were able to register prior to patch 2.2.

Looks like you now have to complete all the instances before being allowed to use the duty roulette.

Aye, that's what the previous Hildebrand story was all about. A mysterious duelist stealing people's weapons.
