This weekend - (Thursday through Sunday events for me.)

Thursday: Hard Mode Primal marathon to get My alt (Eric Verus) his SCH book and the second Relics for two of our members as well. However, with 3 people switching to unfamiliar roles for familiar fights we decided to split the attempt between two runs so we had enough people comfortable and geared to push through Titan (Ifrit and Garuda was easy.)

Thanks to a small stockpile of Mythology, I was able to go straight to completing my Zenith book. Wewt!

Evening ended with a couple of kills on Garuda Extreme causing Aiming and Striking rings to drop for us.

Friday: Friday was our first run into Coil of Bahamut as a group. I'm rather proud of how we did with so many going in the first time. All of one wipe on both ADS and the Snake before we beat both soundly, and out of the ordeal, I managed to get Allegan Chest Of Maiming for Lin's Dragoon and one of our tanks got the Shield.

Saturday: Casual RP night! A casual get-together at the Forgotten springs where my third character Eric Verus, got himself aquainted with my Main's Free Company and his penchant for writing cheep romance novels for money on the side of adventuring was unfortunately outed. (Some how got into a lengthy discussion of what kinds of romance would sell better than others.)

Sunday: RP Storyline Night - Two weeks earlier, the Free Company gathered together to team up with the Immortal Flames to face off against Ifrit and Rescue would-be tempered from a fate worse than death. Many Immortal flames were lost in the battle and multiple members of the Free Company were injured seriously and had to spend time in recovery. Now that most member were now recovered enough to be functional, a remembrance ceremony was hosted for the members of the Immortals Flames that gave their lives to assure that Ifrit was banished yet again. A solemn reminder that such fights against the Primals, even in the presence of skilled adventures was not done without cost or sacrifice.

All and all a good weekend to be had. I'm reminded of how thankful I am to be a part of my little slice of the community.

I was sick this weekend so I didn't do much other than sit around gaming. I picked up DRG Relic body and BRD CT Body. I also leveled BRD from 32-34, then crafted a few gear upgrades for level 35. I have all three DoL jobs at 50, so the crafting took a bit of time since I refused to buy any of the materials.

We can get a small house now actually. They're down to two million.

Granted, that's not prime real estate, but the prices are also dropping. We need to start thinking about where we want to build.

Good idea! Except with are still only halfway to rank 6. We can't buy land until then. We might even be able to afford a medium house if we wait a bit longer. I'm going to stop buying company actions for a bit becuase I have a sneaking suspicion that it lowers your progress toward your next rank. Although I could be wrong...

Forgot to come back for this. ^^

Got the Titan run done for one of our two LSmates.
Got our newest girl up to level 15 so we can do Sastasha with her. First full team run in like 4 years. :D
Got the Ultima Healing Ring.
Did Coil T1 and 2, got the Caster's Ring for my SMN!
Got BLM to 50 and swapped into a ilvl75 set I've been saving.
Ran a bunch of CT.

And best of all: Stayed up until 4am Monday just chatting with the gang and getting caught up. It might be just for this weekend, but life was good.

It is a nightmare. Early on, in Ultros, everyone was beating it easily. They said "Hey, why don't we group up in a linkshell so we can do this stuff together!" And hence, no one else knows what the heck is going on.

It comes down to these four major roadblocks:
1. Can your party kill spiny at the right time?
2. Can your tank / healers properly heal / use cooldowns to survive the double wicked wheel?
3. Can your tanks successfully watch spiny stacks and swap when necessary (during tornado phase)?
4. Can your dps do enough damage to kill the twins before the jump?

That's it. Rest is simple movement and remembering not to die.

No
No/yes. Yes/no.
No.
No.

Lol. And yeah I've heard some folks talking about primal LSs...anybody know of one with a healer spot?

Honestly feeling a bit burnt out right now. I'll probably be logging enough time to cap my myth grab a CT piece and do my weekly BC run with my FC. Hoping for lots of goodies in 2.2.
