You're trolling. The animations are SIGNIFICANTLY improved (much higher frame rate), along with lighting and particle effects out the wazoo. I love watching Thaumaturge cast now, it's gorgeous and fluid.

FATES are improved leaps and bounds; the Silver Bazaar FATE fest area had no pop in, I saw all characters and mobs and there were a TON of us there. Nothing like on PS3. Everything looked like my friends high end gaming laptop and more importantly PLAYED like that as well. As a die hard Sony fan who had a PS3 about a year after launch with 120+ games and previous 6+ year player of FFXI on PS2, the quicker SE forces everyone to switch to PS4 the absolute better for the game. I have no problems with this. Neither should anyone else.

I will say this.. Allot of times when things are better you dont notice the difference as much till you go back to the old system. When I do computer upgrades most people wont notice a huge difference... Once they have to go back to their old machine and have to get something off of it or what ever then they realise how slow their old machine was.

I have not load the beta too our PS4 yet.. Cant see playing a character just too have it deleted right now.. I cant wait to see it on the ps4 though..

I need to find a second PS4,, I had saw a few and now they are all gone again.. I think it has to do somewhat with FFXIV since I know pretty many people looking to get one for this game now..

Amazing by now a console is not too hard to get. I am happy I didnt sell our ps4 at launch... demand is high for the ps4.

I don't wanna call you out or anything, but you should probably try the beta if you have access to it. You don't have to level a character to play around with the UI and options. The main purpose of the testing is to gather feedback, specifically on the UI as Yoshi stated in his interview. The downfall of 1.0 was not listening to feedback the first time around. They actively seek it now through forums, polls and surveys so take advantage.

Nash, I didn't use Mouse/Controller, just KB and Mouse for a minute. Now I'm just using KB (wired) for talking and the controller.

If you have a chance to try it, you should. It didn't take long to level up at all.

I'm going to try and run Satasha tonight as a MRD...with the controller. Granted it should be easier with Tomahawk and Overpower, but we'll see. As targeting is a bit of a pain.

Extra controller bundle would be fine. Always can use a extra controller. I just dont want any other games.
We have a PS4 for Tes and she plays on the PS3 so it is more important for her to upgrade.
I just upgraded my drivers on my laptop and picked up almost double the frame rate. I am still running on medium setting but now it aint such a rush for a ps4 but still really want to switch over.

If I wanted a xbox they are easy to get, amazing demand for the PS4... MS really messed up this round so far..
This whole closed policy on games and not allowing games like FFXIV is got to hurt.

Gamestop has been telling me that the PS4 just released in Japan, so they shifted the majority of their inventory over there for the release. In about a month the inventory should pick up. I am really wary of refurbished consoles this early in the game, and all I can find are refurbished bundles, so I'll stick with waiting a few weeks on a new one.

On a second note, has anyone who usually runs PS3 taken their PS4 to fight titan yet? If so, how did that go?

Sorry... My little Archer is still only level 1... I walked into Gridania... looked at the Aetheryte plaza, passed out, then logged out before I wasted too much time on a character I have to get rid of ; ;

Yeah I don't think anyone is going to bother trying to get to Titan during Beta 1 since all the progress will be wiped.

Well, maybe Story Mode Titan. Assuming it's not a weekend only beta.

The first phase of this beta is limited to lvl 20, so I think Ifrit story mode will be the hardest available. I only reached lvl 10, and don't plan on going any further because I've played through that content far too many times now and just have no desire to do it again. I mainly wanted to see how it looked/performed on the PS4 and to test the Remote Play function. So far I'm fairly impressed with everything. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the PS3 version and 10 being a good gaming desktop, I'd give the PS4 version a 7.5.
