ffxiv needs to improve its backup systenFollow
instead of saving your backup to your pc it should save to the server (like ffxi did) that way those of us who play across multiple platforms can load their backup from either... i mean ok i save a backup to my pc but what happens if i wanna switch to ps3 or 4? then i gotta set up All my gear sets and hotbars again thus making hat backup completely useless.
I think this is a good idea. It's annoying to have to remember to drop my config file into Dropbox so I can sync my UI across multiple PCs, too.

Somehow I'm thinking they will get it figured out for PS4 users. They are going to hear a ton of griping if PS3 users have to reassign everything.

Gonna break the karma rule - guys, there was no reason to rate Duo down for this topic. It's a legitimate complaint.

I would guess the reason is that very few of the OPs topics are titled in a positive manner.
However, when I've brought this up before it was mentioned that sometime after PS4 release (programmers focused on the Beta) they wanted to make it so macro's and hotbars transferred via account regardless of platform. Also Achievements. Unfortunately I don't remember where I posted and who responded and how long ago that was.

Duo almost always has good OPs, it's a shame he gets rated down so much. Definitely gets my +1 more times than not.
