Yet PC only MMOs are still way behind even FFXI in terms of design and rarely even survive these days!
I can list a few MMOs on PC that have more players than FFXI and are more advanced in terms of design. I don't know where you're getting this from.

OH and PSO2 on the Vita has a lot more unique content to it even if it isn't a traditional MMO.
PS what? I don't know anything about PSO2 as it was never released in the states.

Yeah, having a better memory standard on PC and consoles being behind REALLY shows in the unchanging PC only MMO environment and lower tech Indie games being far superior than Triple A commercial games that has the funds to utilize all the latest and greatest technology ontop of console games actually trying to push genres forward despite being behind.
LOL.
Is this some kind of passive aggressive mouthful of sarcasm? All I said was that consoles are behind on hardware and that PCs have more room for MMO development. How can you even argue with that? PCs can be upgraded and built, consoles can not (yet).
No to what? No to dropping PS3 support?

he stated recently that the current design of ARR is the design they're sticking with so people on low end hardware won't have to worry about missing out if they choose to push computers/consoles harder and force people to buy/upgrade. This is why the DX11 update won't do much as per Yoshi's own words.
Is that why they're suddenly and clearly planning on dropping PS3 support?
I never said anything about unique features. Yoshi said that with his use of the example involving the fate with the flying dragon. He said that, not me. The fact is, if they want to continue to push the boundaries of the game in size and graphical capability, PS3 needs to be dropped.
