LOL Wint. But Smiley: clap

Now the question of, are you going to go for your Zenith relic or go for something pretty, like the Alkalurops?

At this rate you'll run out of things to do... oh... never. Smiley: grin

Yeah I'm kinda sitting here at 50 thinking "What do?".

I guess I have the main story line to finish first, then we'll go from there. Someone really should make a "What to do now you're 50" guide. I'll have to look for one tonight.

Well first read this.. it's a bit dated but should still hold true mainly... just add a few more end-game dungeons from 2.1 and a few other things and it's still good.

Edit: Start your relic quest soon... that way you don't have to go back and kill all the primals a 2nd time like I had to... now I'm stuck on Titan for the 2nd time... >.>

Things to add, in terms of ease:

Do your beast tribe dailies. (Optional, but pretty fast and 5 Philosophy tomes/daily as part of a minor reward)
Do your daily treasure map hunt. (5 or 15 Mythology tomes per map, chance at tradeskill components like Darksteel Nuggets and 8x Philosophy Tome tradeskill singlet items (Peacock Ore, Lime Sulphur, etc))
Do your duty (roulette). If you're feeling trepidation on the high level one, at least do the low level one.
Unlock Guildhests up to at least level 30, if you haven't yet. (Dovetails with finishing Main Story questline once you're on the A Realm Awoken steps)
Unlock Crystal Tower.
Finish Main Story questline.

As a note, if you suffer from altaholism, you don't have to be on the 50 class/job to get credit for the intermediate steps, like clearing Sunken Temple or doing Guildhests.

Yeah if I were hitting 50 today, I'd probably do the following:

1-Main Story Quest
2-Start Relic Reborn Quest
3-Run WP / AK for tomes... then Copperbell & Haukke Manor (HARD) once you get WP/AK down (ilvl 60 gear).
4-Jump straight to Crystal Tower as soon as possible - any ilvl 80 gear from there will last you a long time and will save you the time of farming WP/AK only for tomes to buy DarkLight... People are so over-geared right now for the content that you'll get carried so easy in a group of 24. Just buy darklight for the slots you didn't fill with dungeon drops.
5-Continue relic progression as you gear up for coil...

Wait, are you implying that clearing Sunken Temple of Qarn is a required step in the main story? It seemed like that and Halatali were two of the dungeons that were not attached to the main story quest.

For the A Realm Awoken steps, it became one yes.

Oh did they? I did it for the first time the other day and finished it thinking that was much easier than people made it sound.

Also got a cool level 35 sword for my Paladin in progress :p

I haven't done it yet at all. Since it wasn't required to move along the main story quest, I just skipped it while levelling. I'm level 44 now and at the point where I need to kill Garuda story mode. Hopefully I'll have a chance to knock that out and maybe, just maybe, I can hit 50 this weekend.

Just start getting your once a day Duty Roullette (Hard) done.

That would be the highest priority. Roullette will net you 70-90 Mythology Stones. This is for buying your AF2 gear (ilvl 90).

Have you been working on your Relic Quest?
#19 Dec 27 2013 at 9:25 AM Rating: Excellent
Still haven't finished CM so I can't do Duty Roulette or anything yet. Hopefully my friend who I've been doing content with will be feeling better this week and we can get it done.

I did DF The Wandering Palace last night for the first time. Would have been ok but the tank insisted on speed running it which had me peeing my pants in a few spots. We did finish though.
#20 Dec 27 2013 at 10:06 AM Rating: Good
Hahaha, I know that feeling!

Most people running WP in duty finder parties are OK with normal paced runs, so don't be discouraged. You can at least collect some Myth Stones there.

If you haven't completed story quest then that is really first thing! As soon as you unlock Ampador Keep, you will be able to do the Roulette Daily (Hard). Also, with the roulette offering +200 Philo bonus for Story quest, getting parties for Castrum Meridium and Praetorium are easy. You will have fun.

After that the first thing is to go to Fallgourd Float and talk to Gerolt (North Shroud - Hyrstmill, 30-20) about starting your Relic Quest line.

You sure have some really fun battles just around the corner!

Yeah it's convenient, my friend is a tank and I'm a healer, so between her and I we have the major parts covered for a lot of what we have to do.
