Some Craftleves Better?Follow

Didn't quite get to 50 in weaving in those last second tradecraft leves. Just logged in to check the situation and while the HQ benefit has been reduced so that you only get double instead of the triple credit, a lot of the levels have had their base xp *double*. For example, I had been craftleving HQ linen wedge caps of gathering for 97K per HQ (Edmelle's Hair, Lv 35), but when I checked, the base xp for that leve is now 64792, so I just got just under 130K instead of the 97ish I was getting before. And it's not the only one. Level 40 Cool to be Southern now has an 83662 base instead of 41831. Full Moon Fever (Lv 45) now has a 103656 exp base. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but if it isn't, you've got a last chance to xp grind before it's fixed.

I'm still on WVR so I should probably do this... except I'm so hooked on end-game right now it's going to be hard to focus... GRRR.... why can't I just be home today!?!??!

"EXP awarded upon completing certain tradecraft leves has been increased."

Actually looks like it was intended. So essentially, some craftleves were nerfed, but some of the really good ones, you essentially get quadruple experience now instead of triple (2x2 vs 1x3).

So a nerf in HQ with a boost in base for an overall gain in XP? Overall that sounds pretty good, a lot better than I imagined would happen. Of course I blew almost all my leves before maintenance since I feared the worst so I'm going to let them stockpile again before I start taking advantage of the change in XP.

Not all of them, but some are at least, quite a few good ones.

Big change to the lv45 triple turn in for CUL. Tomato Pie now requires Night Milk (for Rolanberry Cheese) and a higher level tomato, it's lv50 one-star instead of a lv45 recipe now. So you're better off grinding out Buttons in a Blanket (single turn in for 76k-ish XP base) than the trip turn in.

I did apple juice from 40-50. Only 1 ingredient ;)

With the nerf to trips though, it may not be the easiest route. *shrug*

Me too - Took Culinarian to 50 and Botanist from 41-43 or 44 harvesting mirror apples. Mindless, boring, grindy XP, but very cheap!
