WHM Coil T5 Skill Points adviceFollow
My Static is now on T5 of Coil. I've heard that at this point, WHMs need to respec their skill points out of MND and into VIT. My question is, should I be putting all my points into VIT now, or just a certain amount?

I suppose respeccing is fine for practice...but you really should be making astral jewelry and melding it with vitality as any caster.

I'd actually say you'd be OK with less HP. Do you have a SCH in the group? Sitting around 4.1K HP with food, I have yet to actually be one shot by anything in there when it wasn't an 'accident' and someone forgot to move in for fireball. All I have socketed with VIT is the astral ring. If you melded astral choker and bracelets with VIT, you'd easily be at 4.3K to 4.5K HP.
Usually our SCH will stick adloqium on people in an emergency. For example, someone just gets out of a conflag and immediately is targeted by a fireball. So the conflag did a little DPS to the person inside and if they aren't topped off, they stand to take ~4k damage from the fireball. SCH sticks up adlo on him and he survives the fireball with the shield. Can be done with stoneskin as well. Tell your BLMs to make use of apocatastasis on the target who receives fireball.
Aetheric profusion is also not too bad with soil + SCH or SMN virus on Twintania right before she uses it. As a WHM, you also can stoneskin yourself in an emergency. Sometimes it might be a good idea to stick stoneskin on low HP people before aetheric goes off if one of your party members has gotten the damage increasing debuff from the baby snakes.
If you don't have a SCH in the group, more HP is advisable. It's a lot more rough but I think it can be done.

You may want to consider holding off on the crafted ilvl 70 jewelry. Word is in 2.1 the recipes requiring over 1125 philosophy will drop to 1125 tomes.

Ouch, that feels like a lot of extra wieght on my blm cast bar. All those extra "utility spells" like Apoc give PS3 players a heart attack. Glad I dont care about turn five at the moment
