Ok so ive started to gear up my dragoon after gearing up a few of the other classes. So far i have all the accessories as well as the belt in darklight with AK gear filling out the body pieces.
What i just noticed though, is that with full darklight and a relic +1 my accuracy will be under capped for the coil. As paladin full DL and relic is enough to cap me so i dont have to think about changing my gear for that content.
So this being the case, what do you guys wear in the coil as a drg to make sure your acc is capped, and what gear choices would you recommend? For any other content full DL is fine since acc isn't an issue but im curious as to what i should do.
As a secondary question, does this happen to any other class? So far on PLD and SMN i dont have any issues so i find it odd other classes might.

I personally don't really care for the "FULL DL" mentality. It's easier to get yes, but when mixed with some of the crafted iLvl70 ear, you're going to see very nice results. I usually compliment my gear with my food, but at the moment i have 510 crit 473 str and use food as needed. I've gotten very good results going the str crit route. For monk, I'm liking the str skill speed path. In Full DL, the stats are just overall average. That's just me though. Invest in the crafted iLvl70 gear for best results. Yes, it takes more time, but the results are very sweet.
Yeah i was afraid thats what the answer was. I have all jobs at 50 and my current priority isnt dragoon so the investment needed right now for that gear is too high. Im aiming for full DL just to start off and will upgrade later. I know its just average gear, but its good for now and easy to get.

Go into coil with a properly geared job. Even though I'm 9/9 on relics, it doesn't mean that I can just bring any of them to 4 on a whim. If you aren't willing to invest in DRG for coil, then I suggest you use a different job that you are willing to invest in. Aside from using food, that's your only option at the moment. Unless you want to spend your mythology.
woah dude i didn't say anything about bringing it to coil 4. i plan on using it for the first floor only right now. One of our DRG has asked us if we could teach him how to tank the first floor coil with his PLD and im the only one in our coil group that can replace him since im almost fully geared. I currently use my paladin to get to coil 4 where my group is currently challenging.

If you are going to do coil you want to aim for 470 acc
So first thing first +1 relic this is the biggest gain you can get over any gear upgrade
Second your going to want to downgrade to hetairos body from dl. This I'd for the acc cuz you shouldn't have a hero's belt cuz you+1 your relic.
Now for the first 2 turns a mix of dl and ak gear with + relic are good enough to farm for gear.
What you want to aim for is this set up for bis
Weapon relic+1
Head allagen visor
Body wyrm mail (mythology tomes)
Hands allagen oh maiming
Belt hero's belt (mythology tomes)
Legs allagen maiming
Feet allagen mamiming
Neck hero's necklaces of slaying mythology tome
Wrist allagen bracelet of maiming
Ring hero ring of slaying mythology tomes
Ring allagen ring of striking
That's what you want the finished product to look like lucky for drg you don't need to buy much mythology stuff

Actually if you plus one relic you won't see that big a diff by just using mostly ak gear if drg is not your main cuz the ak gear will help you get to acc cap and a lot of your bis gear will come from coil farming
Don't even know why I bothered to respond... Hope you find a gear set that suits your needs.
