And I'm embarrassed for my society that a moment of honest adoration of a genuinely beautiful woman becomes a matter of a sexism debate. It's petty and pathetic.
Sorry Kane, but sex exists. You can't ignore gender or the fact that it's found as attractive off the map. I went 'googly eyed' because for once there is an individual that is attractive and does not sell it like a cheep corner *****. She actually feels like one of the guys yet still pretty. She's cute, trendy, seems confident and knows how to bear herself without exploiting herself. There is a genuine quality about the way she looks. I'd be turned off if she was walking around low-cut in a push-up bra leaning down to make sure the camera gets her 'good side'.
It's not the fact that she's a woman in a crowd of flesh-hungry savages (aka men). It's that someone who've I already thought was cool from the FFXIV official forums turning out to be shockingly beautiful. It's well within my rights and bounds as a human being to idolize someone of pseudo celebrity status for their appeal. The female gender is just as guilty of that as is mine-if not as out-spoken.
