When 2.0 Officially starts..Follow

I hope so. Given that servers will begin to have data centers in different regions of the world. My server is (was?) one of the highest Japanese population, and I'd like to move somewhere that is a bit more NA-friendly.

You don't want to help out the newcomers, you want to dominate their market.
If they want help, they are free to join old servers anyway, so what's the point.

What he/she is asking for is nonsense, since any new player may join one of the old servers anyway.

They said they won't allow current characters to transfer to any of the new or old servers right away. Maybe a while after launch they will but its been said a few times that there won't be any character transfers at launch. Current players can make a new character on one of the new player only servers though so if you wanna play with the noobs you must first become a newb yourself.

BTW Rinsui I sub-defaulted you. Don't know if it matters to you or not but thought I'd let you know cause I've never sub-defaulted anyone before so yay for me.

I'm not saying it SHOULD matter, but let's pause for a moment to think about what sub-default actually means...

It means that no one (even if it is only out of 100 ppl) was able to find anything remotely redeeming about your statement. If fact, not only did it lack any redeeming content, but it drew enough ire for people to actively engage in trying to make it disappear.

So basically, your comment was about as valuable as a steaming pile of horse sh*t. WAIT- scratch that. Horse sh*t is actually more valuable than your comment. Dogs have been known to eat horse sh*t because it contains vitamins, minerals, and other forms of undigested nutrients that have some redeeming value for the dog (not saying I personally agree with the concept, but it works for the dogs...).

So, tl;dr, the comment in question is composed of less than sh*t; Sub-sh*t if you will. And maybe that doesn't matter to you, buuuut. A wise man once said... If you meet 3 or more @$$h0les in one day.... IT"S NOT THEM!

Honestly, and I mean this in all sincerity- I didn't even remember what the original argument was about when I wrote my post. I just felt like giving you a hard time because the tone of your posts was irritating to me. At least Filth is funny... you just tend to be self-righteous and annoying. Soooo, I made a post to bust your balls in a good-natured and humorous way. But you felt the need to defend your position and your right to have an opinion (which I never called into question in the first place- I just said that it sucked... which is my opinion, and apparently the opinion of others as well...) So, here we have yet another classic example of a person who claims they don't care about the opinions of those on internet forums, yet types walls of extremely serious text defending their position whenever someone disagrees with their opinion.

tl;dr Feel free to "be right". I don't care enough to argue with you. I honestly didn't care all that much when I made the other post. I was just making an observation.



Who mentioned anything about discovering the truth? You are taking this way too seriously. All I said was that the general consensus seems to be that you are @$$hat. It's just an observation at a glance. No science, no deep underlying meaning. Just the fact that if enough people say "hey, that's a duck", it's probably a duck...

I didn't rate him up to needle anyone. I rated him up because regardless of the 'tone' of the post, it does have merit. Common sense isn't so common these days and it seems people's memory is far shorter than either Rin or my own patience.

If you can wrap your head around the logic behind SE's decision to shrink the economy then it should be easy to understand why they wouldn't allow old players to transfer to new servers.

The rating system seems to be more detrimental than helpful. Too many people playing nice and fishing for rate-ups. Too many people defaulting posts simply cause they disagree with the point. The forum would be better without it, and people would be more.. honest.

Rule number one about the Karma system...

This forum needs a beastmaster thread where people post random goodness and everyone spams good karma.
