FFXIV aiming to set the standard for MMORPG Console Gaming

YES THANK GOD> THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU. I am now fully confident, based on the videos I've seen, that Square is going to pull of a dual control scheme interface. The videos shown thus far CLEARLY indicate they have gone with the western mmo scheme when using a keyboard/mouse. But it now appears you will be able to entirely swtich the control/UI scheme when switching to and from keyboard/mouse to controller. This makes me very very happy.

Edit: There reason I'm so excited is I, like many, love playing with a controller. I still cannot figure out why all game control schemes are the same yet when people hear the phrase "mmo" it triggers their brain to think "mouse/keyboard, w,a,s,d keys". It doesn't have to be that way for an MMO to work. Just because WoW did it doesn't mean every MMO has to do it.

....at least square is giving players the option to use whichever scheme they choose and I think both options will be equally satisfying to their respective player bases this time around.
