Unable to detect directx device.Follow

So ive read many forums about the directx device crashing. I have a I7 920 3.5 ghz. 6G ram, GTX 660ti factory OC. 6,000 benchmark on ffxiv and i dont know why i keep crashing. my pc runs this game like a dream, besides it crashes very often. whats the issue? anyone know

Only time I've seen that is trying to alt-tab when I'm on Full Screen mode... Mind, I don't read the forums much these days.

I just finished my first build 2 days ago and tried to run the benchmark, but it tells me that the file drdx9.dll or something like that is missing. Is this because my computer is DX11?

i have Dx11 also. somone on the game told me to install directx 9 last night just before it crashed again. this better be fixed in 2.0.
