Is there already some action at the AH?

I chose talismanmaking and scavenging as trades, but I need some fragments, so I though I buy them at the AH.

I bought some good things (equip for Swordmaster), but it's still hard to find. I usually sell everything I put up in the AH.

However, I find it lacking in crafting items, and searching through craft elements is annoying.

But it's worth using.

I'd say trying to buy your fragments and essesnces off the AH is going to be a very frustrating way to level tailisman making. You'd be much better off replacing scavenging with salvaging.

I could do that, however, with my scavanging I have alreay found some nice Talisman stuff too, including some blue and purple items, so I would have to buy those ones after I have used them up.

Maybe I just create an alt and let him salvage for me.

What your getting from scavenging are curios, quite possibly the most common item in the game after seeds. They are on the AH all the time.

Fragments and essenses though are alot more rare.

Also, if you salvage on your main, you'll be able to salvage all the quest gear you get thats automatically bound to you. You alt won't have that opportunity unless you level him up to.

In other words: There are lots of Scavengers who aren't Talisman Makers who will be happy to sell curios on the AH. I don't think that there will be near as many Salvagers who aren't Talisman Makers who will be selling fragments.

Scavenging gets you crap for each of the crafting professions, as well as cultivating. Salvaging, on the other hand, only has benefits for Talisman Makers. Since fragments seem to be the bottleneck in leveling TM, I would think it would be very difficult to level without salvaging.

Okay maybe I will switch then.

But another question, not really relating to this. HOW do you send items to your alt? I saw you can attach money, but how can you attach an item?

On the bottom right hand corner is something grey looking like [O] <-- box with circle. Just drag and drop items into that, you can send one item per mail. My main does salvaging/talisman but I just made an alt to scavage for me.

Thanks I just found out, also that you can only attach 1 item! Hopefully they will change that soon.

There's an addon called zMailMod that adds a new tab on your mail window for bulk mailing items. You still have to wait out the 5 sec delay, but it auto-sends each item when the timer is ready so you only have to click once.

It seems like getting to the Auction House is going to take quite a while for me. I'm in the Dark Elves vs High Elves area in the middle of Shadowlands. From what I've been told, the Auction House is in Altdorf. I might make it there by the time I'm rank 40. I'm currently only 13. Ugh!

No need to level! You can fly there from any Warcamp (just look for the flightmaster). There is also an AH in Inevitable city.

I found the flightmaster in Shadowlands but the option to fly to Altdorf was not available. Don't you have to connect with your destination flightmasters before being able to actually fly there?

Isn't the Inevitable City a Chaos city? I'm a White Lion. I'm still trying to figure this whole thing out. lol

On the right side of the flight master screen are different territory options. There are 3, one for each clashing faction. Dwarves versus greenskins, elves versus dark elves and chaos versus empire. I believe Altdorf is under chaos versus empire, but it's 8am and I'm only half functioning, so I could be wrong!

Click on those links and you'll see a big green circle that says Altdorf. Pay the nice man some money, hop on a gyrocopter and you'll find yourself in the massive city. It's good to go explore and reap some discovery xp ; )

And do the quests while you're there: they're really easy, bag you plenty of xp, and help the city level up.

Oh sorry you are from the "other side" lol.

And you do not have to connect with your destination flightmaster, like in WoW!

You still have to run a little ways but it's about the distance (maybe a little farther) from the AH in Iron Forge to the mailbox by the bank.

It's not that bad but it's still not great.

Well that is not very far, so I may give it a try.

I'm making a small fortune in the market selling seeds and talisman making items
