Character searchFollow

Has anyone looked at the character search feature on WARs website? When you do a search for all Characters you don't come up with very many. Something doesn't add up right to me, considering how on both servers I tried during open beta that once I hit 12+ I couldn't really get into the scenario.

I understand people mainly did open beta to try each class out for a few ranks but outta all the closed beta applicants number that I see on thier website only me and a handful of people were trying to get to 20 on both servers I tried??? The first server I did with Bright Wizard I saw mainly only about 20 people 12+ for 2 days str8 whenever I was logged on.

When I switched to Witch Hunter on another server I saw even fewer 12+

I am just wondering am I being miss lead of how many people are getting this game? They put up a news piece saying there were like 1.5 mil pre orders, somehow I don't believe that. In that same release it said 100s of thousands allready joined durring open beta. I'm sorry from my experience on both servers I tried, it doesn't seem to reflect what they are saying.

I had the week off from work so I was on the game on and off from the moment I woke up to atleast 9pm est, well as long the servers wern't down. I have another post on here titled Rank 12+ problem, I posted before tha press release.

well beside this conspiracy I love the game and I can't wait untill 2marrow for SE headstart to begin.

There will not be a lack of players for this game, certainly not in the next month+.

Based on the SE headstart alone they revised the server rollout for the quanitity of each ruleset that will be available. Smart money is on them having many more unannounced servers ready to go for the 18th and beyond as well.

Everyone I knew in the open beta stopped playing characters at level 12 and rolled a different class (some multiple times). It made more sense in the timeline available to do this than to try and see if 12-20 made a significant change in your chosen career(s). After launch a large group will be pushing fast as they are capable to get to 40. This means there will be action at all levels for some time, because not everyone has the same time to put into it.

I was using the character search feature yesterday to see how many of my favourite names have already been claimed with decent spellings (I hate extra letters). I also searched nearly every class and there were lots of each coming up on all servers. Shaman and Squig herder didn't generate a list though... so either there was too many of them for the search to do without me narrowing it down, or goblins avoid census takers. Type a name and search and both careers show up though.
