For the longest time I was leaning towards Zealot, but after reading some elder beta tester comments I believe Shaman is actually more like what I want to do.

Chaos Marauder is what I was looking at. Squig herder is a close second.

I've had fun with every class I've tried except the Witch Hunter and Runepriest.
I didn't like the Witch Hunter because it's mechanic works just like the Rogue in WoW
I didn't like the Runepriest because I just can't stand playing a Dwarf

The Empire Bright Wizard/Dark Elf Sorceror has been my favorite damage dealer: The combustion bar is so fun to toy around with.
The Goblin Shaman is my favorite healer. Even though I've played it's equal, the Archmage, I like their background and aesthetics more.
The Black Orc is really quite fun. Bringin' da gud plan out to smash dem stunties was fun.

I haven't tried Chaos, as it seems really overloaded in their starting place any time

Dwarven Engineer....nothing like popping out a Flamethrowing Turret and lobbing grenades at people. They have great ranged abilities and good melee damage. Have had quite a bit of fun with him so far.

Well I love my Goblin Shaman. and I enjoy being a witch elf as well. and the dorf engineer was lots of fun (HELGA!) lol that being said.. DOWN WIT DA STUNTIES! this here git is ready to serve gork and mork :D

I cant decide if I am going to do Bright Wizard or Witch hunter......Leaning more towards Wizard cause I love caster classes and enjoy the way they play. Its kinda fun knowing your fragile and you have the worry of not letting ur foes get too close whilst burning them down...keeps the blood pumpin :-)

Hopefully they add a skin tone editer. I want mine to be kinda dark to portray the dark energies I harness!

Add more skin tones you mean? Since they have a few choices already built in when you create your character? I foresee me having a bit of trouble in the future when I create my characters with choosing the skin tone I like best.

I know I spent a good 10 minutes working on the skin tone for my mage. Certainly will be the same with WAR.

The guys i play in table top Skaven haven't been included yet so anything that hates stunties is good for me

The Greenskins hate the stunties so going with a Squig Herder to start off with but really interested in give the Shaman a good look at too the mechanics look interesting

I like them all.

The only ones I have problems with are the aesthetics of the Elf faces and hairstyles...

The High Elf female faces (I only looked at the female High Elf faces, not the males) makes me cringe. Something about their eyes and how they looked "alien" to me.

With the female Dark Elf faces... I guess I didn't pay much attention to them to see if they were the same way... I just noticed how the few I scanned through looked like I was making an Amy Winehouse character, so I tried for a male Dark Elf.... which leads me to...

What is the deal with the male Dark Elf hairstyles (I only looked at the male Dark Elves, not the male High Elves)? Every single one of their hairstyles makes them look VERY feminine.

With that being said... and hoping that Mythic gives enough character slots... I will have at least one of each class and I will hash out which gender later.

I am rolling an engi I mean come on you are a one man artilery unit. I play Dwarfs, Chaos, Empire, and Wood Elves in the minature version I love using ranged attacks like the artilery train of Nuln, 70% gun units/artilery dwarf army, and near 100% archery on the wood elves. I am gonna wait on rolling a caster till the Lizardmen come out those guys rock.

Still reading up and trying to decide. Although I've always loved tanking, so Black Orc and Chaos Chosen are looking to be my first tries.

Witch Hunter is my career of chioce at the moment, I kinda like the dark and mysterious ways they inhabit whilst being holy demon fighters.

And as the OP says: The ability to wield guns and swords at the same time, that just looks bad-ass

Squig Herder and Witch Hunter.

I have to say though, every time I see someone say "SH" for Squig Herder, I think of Scorpion Harness. I don't think that will ever change...

I am sure that all the talk about destro and order having similar break downs, as far as numbers per side/server, will dissipate once the retail launches. This is under the assumption that you won't be able to roll both sides on one server a la WoW(If I am wrong about this, please disregard lol).

Anyways, I am going to keep the essence of my Blood Elf Paladin(Chair) alive in my Empire Warrior Priest(Klondikebar).

You too? T_T It doesn't help that I'm practically always wearing my SH ... it'll take some getting used to thinking of what it means in WAR while I'm there, and FFXI while I'm there.
