right my brother just got darkage and his processor ram ect are fine...
not 100% on the graphics card..
when he logs in he gets to the caracter selection screen selects and it will load when it gets to bout 80% it crashes bringing up a error saying that it cant find memory 0x7c911e5 to then another set of numbers and letters
iv updated the drives but that didnt help ... ne clues?

What kind of graphics card does he have? Sounds like a possible graphics issue.
DAoC only supports NVidia and ATI cards. If its not one of those or an older one without at least 64 megs, thats probably the issue.
Post what kind of card he has here. If you dont know how to tell, ill walk you thru it.
