Ok I see the different colored gems on the map but can't seem to find my way into an instanced wing of Catacombs.
Currently I am level 31.
Is there a good map or something because it seems my problem is there is more than 1 level and the map of course has difficulty showing this. Or I am dumber than I thought.

Im assuming you mean Catacombs of Carvoda.
If thats the case, East (left if coming from Cornwall entrance) at first x-road.
North at second room (first that allows you to go north)
Instanced straight ahead.

Got it figured out. I was just missing the door or was on the opposite side.
