Are there certian requirements class wise for this? My wife & I both just recently came back to the game & decided to start out fresh characters instead of continuing our levl 50's, she is playing a valkyarie & is getting the xp bonus for having a lvl 59 on her account, I am playing a mauler & am not reciving the bonus even though I also have a lvl 50 on my account. Is this supposed to work this way?
catacomb classes receive a 50% bonus to xp. Any class prior to catacombs, you can start at level 20, so the 50% bonus only works until level 20 since you have to do 1-20 on it.
I was not sure if Maulers did or did not get this bonus, but I guess Mythic is against the fast leveling of toons now b/c it discourages new people in finding groups when grouping is so important to enjoyment/learning.

Maulers do in fact, get the 50% bonus to xp. Just thought I'd share that. =)

What I am wondering about though is do maulers get the exp bonus from having a level 50 character on the account?
That is the only way you do get the bonus. If you have a level 50 previously, you should either be able to /level to 20, or for the newer classes, get a 50% xp bonus.

that is my problem, I have a level 50 on my account & my mauler does not get the bonus 50% exp for it, nor could I do the /level 20.
